Hanalei Bay Resort overlooks Hanalei Bay from a tropical, lush 28 acres in Princeville. Beautiful ocean and Bali Hai views are everywhere on this property. Beach access is provided down a long, fair grade, paved path, and the resort staff offer convenient golf cart rides to the beach below.

This spacious studio unit can accommodate up to 4 people making a great option for a family vacation at a reasonable rate! We provide some flatware, dishes, coffee maker, blender and mini refrigerator to help with some food preparation and the resort BBQ's can also be utilized. The tile floors throughout are great for island living and upkeep. The lanai space will add a sense of serenity to your vacation as you gaze at the amazing mountains and garden views! The resort amenities will add to the excitement with two pools, a hot tub, cascading waterfall features, multiple tennis courts, a fire pit sitting area to enjoy the nightly sunsets and direct beach access. What more could you ask for!

Resort Roof Replacement project September - November 2024. Please be advised there will be unavoidable construction noise for the duration of the project. Work will be completed Monday through Friday from 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

Clean property with nice view
This property was clean and the view from the unit was nice with ocean in the distance. The property managers were very responsive too. Nice to have resort amenities like clean beach towels and access with nice pool. Just note there's still additional daily resort and parking fees and taxes on top of what's paid through VRBO. Minor, the TV reception is not very stable and some days there were no good receptions/channels avail, and the tiny shampoo and conditioner bottles were not enough to last my family of 4 for the week.

Such an amazing place
We did not expect what we got out of the condo. The views were amazing and all of the amenities we got out of the resort made it so worth it for our money. Definitely would come back and recommend to anyone!

Nice Resort - Dated Room with Huge Slant and Bugs
The resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained. Our friends who stayed in other rooms said their rooms were great. However, you can see the slant of this room from the pool. We also saw lots of larger bugs on the counters and in the closet at various points in our two night stay. Very disappointing for what we payed for the room.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, äusserst freundliches Personal im Resort. Leckere Essensmöglichkeiten, auch Take away möglich. Nur unweit vom Strand, kostenloser Shuttle verfügbar. Vom Balkon aus sieht man sogar das Meer.

Overall, it was a good stay! Batteries were missing in the TV and bed was rather uncomfortable, but I am extremely hard to please with a mattress so that may not be the general consensus. We weren’t at the resort too often so it suited our needs well. Thank you!

Amazing view!
We picked the property because of the view and the pool (for my son) and it did not disappoint! My favorite was sitting on the porch having my morning drink just looking at all the beauty. The location of the room on the property is awesome as well. Right there close to the pool/hot tub, restaurants, and other amenities. Plus it’s nice that the resort includes you in all the activities (I won at bingo!). The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the shower was always warm. The only con is the bathroom is a bit dark when you close the shower curtain and having some sort of rack to dry bathing suits would have been nice. Also, the faucet in the bathroom gets really hot, but it’s nice for when you need to clean a dish. We love staying north because it is more chill and would totally stay here again!

Breathtaking Views & Spacious Unit
I have been to Kauai many times and stayed at different places across the island. Hands down this was my favorite location ever! When we opened our shutters the first morning and saw the mountain and bay views, we were stunned. Looked like a painting! The room was spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable and gave us a great night’s sleep after days spent hiking and snorkeling. Bathroom has plenty of room to get ready. We also used the fridge/freezer every day. Tip: buy ice at the grocery store to keep in the freezer to refill your water bottles daily. This property is gorgeous! Spacious grounds. Very kind staff. Incredible restaurant with nightly live music. We will absolutely be return customers. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
