“A fantastic lovely place to stay close by Montalcino. Tranquil, stunning view and very cozy atmosphere and rooms. Capanna wines are wonderful and the only downside was that the fine dining restaurant which we visited before and looked forward to enjoying again was closed the two days we spent there. However Montalcino is a beautiful little place with many good restaurants and cozy atmosphere so there’s always other options. Will definitely come back!”

“We were here for 3 nights but could have happily stayed for 3 weeks!!!
The host was wonderful, attentive yet discreet and a great communicator for both the practicalities of check in, and the finer details like restaurant recommendations and a wonderful local breakfast, we certainly ate well & Fabio was a wonderful host.
The room itself was also fabulous - really well thought out, everything you could possibly need, from a fridge and wine glasses to excellent aircon and a lovely bathroom. Well...

“Whilst the infrastructure and location were classic Tuscany, the hospitality (staff engagement & food) were underwhelming. It never felt welcoming & it was challenging to discern who were the owners, staff or guests. It was often unclear how their systems operated, ie how to purchase wine/drinks, when dinner or breakfast would be available & the service was extremely slow. We stayed for 3 nights & ate dinner there each night (meal ~€50 pp) as had been tempted by the photos of gorgeous food when...

“Overall, our stay here was wonderful. Two small caveats. First, WiFi was sketchy. For the price, this place should have its own WiFi. There were only a couple of spots where it was reliable. Second, there is a gravel road that lead to the property with lots of ruts dips. Our rental car scraped bottom several times. If you’re driving with a small Fiat or something similar, beware. ”
