“Worst place for the amount of money spent ever. We found used things you clean your ears with in the couch, sockets were falling out of walls, I got the whole hairdryer kn my hand when I tried to use it, the toilet paper holder also fell out from the wall. We walked with shoes because the carpet felt dirty. The place is more that outdated. The toaster needs to be replaced and one of the stove plates did not seem to work.”

“Great weekend in Canmore! Loved our getaway and what a cozy, clean place 💕. Peaceful and quiet and loved our fireplace in our room. Very comfortable beds. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese hour too! Will definitely stay here again 💯.”

“room was good nice, bed were comfortable, check in was easy and parking out the front. 10/15 minute walk to the main area in canmore. there was some dogs barking in other rooms which we could hear, but the front desk advise they had contact the owners and is stopped shortly after. would recommend staying at this hotel”

“Canmore as a whole can almost be walked from one end to the other! Super nice people everywhere we went! Only wish both buildings had a swimming pool. Travelling from the secondary building to the pool especially in the winter was inconvenient and a little cold. Weather was gorgeous and driving in felt like you were in a Hallmark movie! ”

“The place is under renovation but the staff have been very helpful and accommodating. Some inconvenience like using exit doors to go up your room without elevators, but they compensated well. We always come back to this hotel because of the pool. ”

"Rummet var stort och passade oss med mycket bagage. Läget var utmärkt. Vi hade en väldigt tråkig utsikt. Cafeet på hörnet var perfekt för frukost. Garaget var prisvärt och det fanns alltid gott om plats. Vi saknade att det inte fanns någon bra information om hotellets faciliteter. Vi saknade att det inte var öppet i baren för en drink efter skidåkningen. "

Overpriced and outdated lodge in Banff

"Lodge in a great location but very much over priced compared to other lodges we stayed at this week in Banff/Lake Louise. It’s outdated and lacks more modern features, e.g. keyless entry (card). Additionally, the TV did not work, the password to the wifi was nowhere to be found, to mention a couple of issues. The beds were great and comfortable but the rest of the interior was outdated and needs an upgrade."
