The cottages are right on Lake Erie within a spacious setting that includes open grass, an outdoor pool, multiple tables, chairs and glider benches in both sunny and shaded locations. “Although the property is very close to the interstate highway and our room faced the highway, once the door was closed there was very little noise. Once inside the room it is as good as any two-star hotel, with plenty of hot water, a mini-fridge, clean towels and bedsheets. “This property was just what I needed for a three night stay with a reasonable price. The room was clean, and had comfortable beds, if you like a softer bed. “For the 3 of us, it was great. We enjoyed the Presque isle hiking trails, kayaking and boat tour spread out over 3 days. Local meadery was a nice find. Campfire Friday and Saturday nights. “For our family, this is the best place we’ve stayed in Erie. The location is perfect for what we like to do. The owner is so responsive to any questions. The place is so clean…. I feel at home the minute I walk in. My 99 year old father-in-law says he remembers the place and would love to live there! North East is such a friendly town….we enjoy it so much. Can’t wait for next year!!!”

“Nice peaceful place to stay. Was a little upset that the water was high and there was no beach at the cove, as stated in the information and seen in the pictures but it was beautiful. The inside of the cabin was very nice. The outside needed some clean up but over all it was a nice weekend.”

“Booked this property to watch the 2024 solar eclipse (more than 2 years advance!) and it did not disappoint! Beyond the fact that it was the perfect size for my group (7 adults), very clean, and stocked with everything we could possibly need, the best part of this property by far is the views!! I highly recommend this property - the property manager is great, was a great value, and it was the perfect setting for witnessing the total eclipse - an experience I’ll never forget!”

“Me and my now fiancée stayed here for a weekend Valentine’s trip to wine country, the location is excellent, right in between tons of wineries, plenty of great food/restaurants and still on a quiet street just outside of town. The house was stocked with anything you need outside of your personal items. Overall a very nice little place to stay in that area!”
