The manager James only communicated with us when he needed the payment or had questions about it. After that, he NEVER responded to our texts about the wifi not working, or the laundry room being closed when we needed it. The employee Mike told us he’d solve it but the only solution he gave us was the wifi for the restaurant next door which only reached one room in there. The bathroom smelled like humidity, the fridge was nasty, and the AC didn’t reach the room upstairs, so it was so hot to sleep. Do not stay here if you’d like to get solutions for what you pay for.

Cute little apartment in a wonderful district
We stayed with our daughter. She slept on the couch downstairs and we slept in the loft. It was cozy and cute. Our daughter said she wanted to live there. It's designed a lot like a boat, with hidden compartments for everything. The loft can get kind of stuffy. It doesn't have much ventilation. So be sure to use the air conditioner provided even if you don't think you'll need to.

Amazing stay in Paris
The appartement was exactly as described. Very clean and everything we needed inside. Location was perfect to visit Paris for a few days. The hosts were great and very nice. I would recommend 100%.

Emplacement idéal!
Ma sœur et moi avons passé un très beau séjour à l’appartement. Sa situation est idéale, tout est proche. Mike nous a très bien accueilli et répondu à nos questions. Attention, l’escalier qui mène à la mezzanine demande une certaine agilité physique. Je recommande pour de jeunes gens.

Small but gets the job done
Inside of the place is nice, it's up 1 flight of stairs. Courtyard outside had construction going on which was loud starting at 8am. Not sure how much longer that'll be the case but that's the reason for the 3 stars

Marais apartment
Studio apartment with loft, three beds, kitchen, bath. Nice location in the heart of the Marais. Close to everything. Note that "reception 24/24 and 7/7" means that you can set whatever time you want to check in but you must let them know what time you will be there to meet them. They aren't there 24/7 like a hotel.

Un super studio
Merci James, le studio était parfait pour nous. L'enregistrement a été très simple et bien expliqué et nous avons apprécié de pouvoir accéder au studio plus tôt. Le studio était très bien équipé et propre et tout était comme annoncé. La position est excellente avec un supermarché, des bars, des restaurants, etc. ainsi que de nombreuses attractions à proximité. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à Paris et recommandons le studio. Merci encore.

Moldy bathroom
The living room and bedroom loft area of this apartment are as advertised, but the bathroom was terrible. When we checked in there was a lot of black mold on the shower tile and around the shower fixtures. I'll be happy to provide picture evidence to VRBO as proof that this is a truthful review. After seeing it, I immediately messaged "James", the listing agent/owner, and asked that someone come clean the bathroom. I figured that maybe he didn't know what poor condition the bathroom was in, and thought I was doing him a favor. But unfortunately, he didn't respond and just completely ignored our message/request to clean the bathroom, which makes me believe that the mold is the status quo for the unit. The bathroom had a strong stench of mold and mildew that made it so we couldn't leave the door between the bathroom and living room open. After we got no response, we went to the local market and bought bleach spray and scrubbing pads and cleaned it ourselves for about 30 minutes. It only kind of helped. The bathroom needs to be scrubbed down, tile needs to be sealed, and they need to figure out how to get some heat and additional ventilation to it. It looks a chronic issue that is being caused by no heat or ac in the bathroom. Concerning James's responsiveness, he seems to only respond to the messages he wants to respond to. A week before our check-in I messaged him, asking about blankets and pillows, and got no response. I then messaged him on the day of check-in about getting keys and he responded. I then messaged him about the bathroom mold and got no response. On the last day, I messaged him about where to leave the keys, and surprise (!), he responded. This is not a professionally managed unit. If want a cheap apartment in The Marais, and don't care whether you have to clean the bathroom yourself before you use it, then go for it. Otherwise, pick any of the other 1000 places for rent in the 4th Arr. James - if you had just responded about the bathroom and had your cleaners come to take care of it, I would have left a positive review or no review at all. Good job not responding and making us clean the bathroom. Hope it was worth not paying your cleaners an extra 50 euros to do what already should have been done.

Fantastic location, very quiet and secure with a genuine Parisian experience. Check in was easy and staff very helpful. Happy to hold out bags when we arrived early. Only downside is the shower was a bit ordinary, but perfectly functional.

Everything you need for a week long stay. Appreciated having a stocked kitchen and only one flight of steps up too the flat. Also faced interior courtyard so was very quiet for sleeping. Thank you!

Great location
We loved the location, within walking distance you can find all you need for transportation and food , it feels safe and pleasant. My only comment is regarding the shower that need some updates and cleaning but other than that we had a great stay.

The location is superb!!! A minute walk from good restaurants, shops, Metro station, and 10-20 min walk from many attractions. The host is friendly. Beds are comfortable. Good size.

Great location
Cozy studio in great location 1/2 block from the Seine in the Marais, lots of neighborhood restaurants/cafes, good metro access to 2 lines. On the 1st floor of an interior courtyard. Clean and comfortable, the host was very responsive and helpful. The sleeping loft is as pictured, very small - you can just sit up on the bed - and steep narrow stairs, so must be agile to be comfortable. A good pied-a-terre in central Paris for 1 or 2 people.
