“Love this hotel for its charm and location along the Camino de Santiago Frances, but above all else for its amazing restaurant. This was my second stay on the property but this time the restaurant was hosting a large private party. As hotel guests, we were still allowed to eat at the restaurant, but the quality of the experience suffered greatly and was a total disappointment. ”

“It was a good place to stay at but rooms allow noise to interrupt a good sleep. After a tiring walk at El Camino, I just wanted to take a shower and sleep, but it was difficult because of the crowd. There were some issues with our Expedia reservation that couldn't be found, but after all they resolved and were very supportive. They are located a bit far from El Camino, so you'll need to pay a round trip taxi when you come and leave ($6-10 Euros). ”

“After a long cold and rainy day on the Camino, Manuel picked us up in town. This was a life saver as we were so wet and cold from the walk. Upon arrival there was a welcoming fire and coffee and cookies. We felt right at home. We were the only guest so we were able to enjoy the family room by the fire all evening. Dolores cooked us the most amazing meal. We can both say that it was the best meal we had on the Camino. They are wonderful hosts!! The only downside was the weather so we...

“The building and room are both beautiful, recently renovated with a cosy living room. The surrounding nature is gorgeous. The staff its nice and available with a nice breakfast. The only issue is the thin wall and the squeaky bed in thouch with the wall. The noise from neighbouring room, there is only one sharing the wall, is killing. We had a neighbour having sex after midnight and that the noise can ruin your night sleep”

A lovely place

"We loved every minute of our 2 night stay. We liked our comfortable room, the breakfast, restaurant and cafe (with the bar). We enjoyed being in the garden and swim in the pool and sitting in the cozy sitting room in the evening. We loved the friendly atmosphere in this old building. The entrance to the SPA was 30 € per person, so We stayed by the pool in the garden instead. All the staff were very nice and professional. It’s a short drive to the busy Center of Santiago de Compostela but here you feel like you are in the countryside. "
