“We stayed 4 nights at Salvatore's garden house. Salvatore was very solicitous and kind. We arrived in Noto by rental car on a dark and stormy night after a long drive. We had a very difficult time finding the house as my phone with the information had run out of battery. It was only the kindness of a local that led us to the house. “Even though we had booked two weeks at a beach resort in Giardini-Naxos we still opted to come here for an overnight stay to get more from our visit to Ortigia/Siracusa than you can from just a day trip.
