“If you want to get away to the most peaceful place in the most perfect home, you need to stay here! Our friends decided to tube the Kennebec River and stay in this lovely house. It was perfect for all twelve of us! “I checked in at 6pm on Aug 20th, the hotel office building was dark with a “closed” sign hanging in the front. I then called the office and surprisingly I could neither talk to anyone nor leave a voicemail because the mail box was full. It was upsetting that this hotel completely disregarded their customers in such an unprofessional manner. I was left high and dry and had to rearrange my hotel booking in the evening. “The location and house were perfect for us. We were looking for remote and private with lake access. This delivered. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. The lake was great for swimming. This is on our list for next summer! As with a previous review, the lock code did not work so we had to use a key.”
