“We have stayed here twice in the last two months. Both rooms were immaculately clean! Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating both times (It was the same woman both times...I just can't remember her name. ) If you are going to stay here, you so need to bring a hair dryer, conditioner (shampoo is provided), creamer( if you don't like French vanilla)”

“Stayed as nephew getting married in the area but lived the location and convenience to Shenandoah National Park and Masanutten. Great host that did a lot of little extras - treats, coffee, etc. Wished we had more time to enjoy it all had to offer. Will be back. ”

“We loved our experience at Murphy's Place! We came up here for a Birthday/Valentine's Day weekend vacation, and we stayed busy the whole time! There is so much to do around the VRBO. Lots of wineries, breweries, shopping, and more!!! Charlottesville is a quick 20 mins away or so and Wintergreen Resort is about the same, but the opposite direction. We cannot wait to stay here again in the near future!! Big thanks to the hosts for making us feel comfortable and at home! ”

“This one bedroom, one bath suite was perfect for a getaway in Staunton. Everything was so well done. The kitchen had everything you could want for coffee and for cooking. The internet, and TV options worked perfectly. The entrance codes made it easily accessible yet very secure. An all around lovely place with a great town, great restaurants, and beautiful hiking in the area.”

“Place was in a perfect location for food and wandering around. Room was nice, and as described. Clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Scent on linens from laundering was mild but still bothered my allergies. Not their fault, I am just very sensitive. Banana nut bread was a nice treat! ”

“From the moment you walk in the suite makes you smile. The bathroom is amazing with a big bath tub. I really enjoyed the fire pit, reading by the creek . The whole property is amazing , peaceful and quiet which is what I was looking for . You can hike for a bit on the property as well. Veritas winery is right around the corner for more great views and delicious wine . The property is close enough to so many other wineries and breweries, the blue ridge parkway and Skyline drive. “We came to Crozet to visit our son, who lives there. The location of our rental was beautiful and the space was clean, spacious and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could possibly need or want. They exceeded our expectations with the extra things they provided like coffee, snacks and breakfast items. The only thing that we would like to mention is the stone steps and walkway, which were very well lit but could be an issue for people with ambulatory issues. ”

“First the owner said to cancel on my end so he didn’t get penalized- then told me he would get back to me if the home was available and then never responded. VRBO has been terrible to deal with and I’ve had to escalate to a manager at this point. I’ll Never book with VRBO again! This was awful”

“We had the best time visiting this past weekend! It was a rainy weekend in Staunton but that didn’t dampen our spirits. We ventured out to Chophouse for a delicious dinner on Valentine’s Day. The sauna was a perfect way to start the day each morning. This home is so cozy and quiet, just perfect! We can’t wait to come back!”

“We had a fabulous time!! We loved how clean and fresh everything looked! The fabulous little town within walking distance. We did the Let’s Roam app and explored all over by walking!! The only negative thing was the smell when you first walked in. Some air freshener plug ins may be helpful. But other than that it was really a great place. We will book again!!! ”

“This was the perfect stay for what we needed (and more). I packed a ton of books and toys for our kids, but they didn't touch a single one. The house had a bin of toys, a bunch of games (we played candyland), stuffed animals in every room, and even a workout room we did a fun family workout in! The weather was just cold enough that we decided against s'mores, but we hung out by the water and promised the kids we'll be back when it's warmer.We also brought our dog, who we may not bring next time....
