“Possitive: Value for money, good location, quite area, good sea view from our room, staff are very helpfull and kind, free pickup/drop off from/to the ship port, very clean, free usage of sea towels, 24/7 reception,shops near the hotel. Negative: Wifi have very bad signal and is very slow, poor breakfast, mosque is behind the hotel, no elevator in the hotel We had a very good stay in Velana hotel. I suggest the hotel.”

“Good things. 1. 2-3mins from the beach which was lovely. 2. Staff were nice. 3. Airport shuttle (to and fro) was $20 which was really good. Bad things. 1. Bad Internet service. 2. Food was not nice. Chinese restaurant with no spices and salt. Had to eat in a nearby restaurant with very fine dining. 3. Expedia messed up with communication, so we had originally booked for half board, however, this hotel doesn't offer half board. So glad we did not get half board cos the food was not nice at all...

“The kindness of staff is as unlimited as coffee and tea on the 2nd floor. The guy from reception helped us with luggage on the way to the hotel and also back. They provided snorkel equipment for free. Breakfast is very tasty, espiecialy maledivian one. Room is clean and spacious enough, one disadvantage is that we didn't have window and maybe that's why you can feel excess humidity. ”

“Really clean and modern, perfect location only 50 meters from bikini beach. Breakfast was also good. Wifi was not working so well some evenings when many people were surfing at the same time. Snorkeling tour they arranged was amazing as well as the resort visit for one day :)”

“Best place , I wouldn't pick any other place to stay at if I were going back to maafushi. The rooms are really clean and very nice, wifi is really good, foods really good and the service is amazing. I stayed here for 4 nights. They picked me up from the ferry, when I came to the guest house they sat Me down and told me everything I needed to know about maafushi and all the fun activities there is to do. The guys that works here are amazing and will make sure that you're going to have a great...

“The guest house zone is simple and basic. Great garden and newly built roof top with the restaurant. People were really pleasant. Hardy - is the best host, took me on a ride to show the island when I first arrived! I enjoyed conversations with him. Food was great and not expensive at the restaurant. Thank you!”

“Man får vad man betalar för. För det priset så var det prisvärt. Ett litet hotell med små utrymmen, men väldigt trevlig personal och väldigt bra läge mitt emot stranden. Finns en hel del restauranger inom gångavstånd. För övrigt finns ju inga attraktioner i trakten, förutom stranden. Mitt emot hotellet fanns ett ställe som hyrde ut vattenleksaker om man känner för det. ”
