“Very clean guest house, helpful and service minded staff who always was ready to help. We really enjoyed our time, only bad thing was the fact that it was only the owner who spoke good English and that we felt understood what we were saying and also she was the only one who knew how to handle card payments. A very good guest house for a reasonable price and we would definitely stay again!”

“The guesthouse is an absolute gem, offering both comfort and all the amenities one could need. “Perfect stay at Funplace, people in reception made everything for us to have a perfect stay! They helped us to fix my broken shoe and gave a cream to relieve my friend who got hurt. Only the last day they didnt come to clean the room (there is absolutely no problem with that), and we found a dead cocroach in the bathroom in the morning just before to go. “Man får vad man betalar för. För det priset så var det prisvärt. Ett litet hotell med små utrymmen, men väldigt trevlig personal och väldigt bra läge mitt emot stranden. Finns en hel del restauranger inom gångavstånd. För övrigt finns ju inga attraktioner i trakten, förutom stranden. Mitt emot hotellet fanns ett ställe som hyrde ut vattenleksaker om man känner för det. ”

“Really clean and modern, perfect location only 50 meters from bikini beach. Breakfast was also good. Wifi was not working so well some evenings when many people were surfing at the same time. Snorkeling tour they arranged was amazing as well as the resort visit for one day :)”

“I liked the elevator to reach my room on the third floor. I also liked being close to the Red Wave supermarket in the area. However, my room was pretty noisy both at night and in the early morning. There were strange noises coming from upstairs early morning. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful.”

“Service minded staff, but that´s where the nice things with this hotel ends. No darkening curtains, AC sounding like a bulldozer, termites everywhere, one soap dispenser (in the shower). Furniture and floor water damaged, a lot of black mold in the bathroom. ”

“The location is excellent. Right in front of the bikini beach and the surf breaks. The staff are all lovely. We also had lunch here twice and the food was so good! The manager was friendly and had a chat with us one morning and it was great as we learned about the Maldives tourism history. We would have given a higher rating but the bathroom we stayed in had a very bad smell throughout our stay. It's probably just due to the plumbing and the age of the room so we didn't mention it to the staff....

"We had a Beach Villa which was really nice. Half board was included in the price, and the food was ok. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurants at the resorts and the quality of the food was not the best. A few examples; Our pasta wasn’t cooked enough, food didn’t taste much and hadn’t been salted while prepared, meat/fish/shrimps was over cooked. If you are looking for a nice food experience and used to fine dining, this is not the place. The island is amazing for swimming, water activities, snorkeling and diving. You will see mantas, sharks, turtles and lots of amazing fish without leaving the island. "
