“We had a great stay, the newly renovated kitchen is gorgeous, the bathtub upstairs is huge. We slept well and had everything we needed. We shopped at Bergamot & Amor, had lunch at Sarducci’s in Montpelier & enjoyed the warmth of the pellet stove in the evenings.”

“This is the second time staying at the house, the first time was in the summer, now in the heart of winter. Conveniently located near town, but far enough away to make you feel that you have gotten away. The house has everything you need to relax after a day of activities in the Northeast Kingdom. ”

“What a great place to spend a week in Stowe! Great location (5-10 minutes from the resort, 5-10 minutes from town). The property was super clean and inviting. The library / sitting room area is a great place to spend time with family and friends. We could not get over how warm the house was, despite the freezing temperatures. I highly recommend and hope to be back! ”

The property was clean and bright, and situated very close to downtown and about 12 minutes to Stowe. Comfy furniture and beds, and lots of parking. The owner was very responsive to my messages. It appears the house is very newly renovated and there were a few things that could be improved upon. Between the two kitchens, there was only one kitchen towel...

“Beautiful location. Great kitchen. Master bed had a fantastic firm king. All the bathrooms are very spacious. Comfortable lounging spaces throughout. Just a few minutes from town.”

“The Red Barn is perfect for our group, this is our 2nd time there. Plenty of room in both the house and property, where we can sit out by fire or use the hot tub, and not worry about the closeness of any neighbors if were up a little late. Having the spacious barn for activities if foul weather is also a definite plus ”

“We loved the beautiful, quiet, peaceful setting in a remote area but not too far from town. The house was wonderfully restored and well appointed with everything one could need. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to our questions. We will definitely want to return here on our next trip to VT.”
