“Brilliant stay, lovely property which was clean and modern. It would have been good to understand the pool would be closed until 1st june in advance. The stairs were also quite steep for elderly relatives. Only small things!”

“My biases are that I love older architecture. I would guess that this villa is well over a 100 years old and they have maintained the character while modernizing the kitchen and bathrooms. The views are beautiful. It did have a few minor issues that I would expect with an older villa which in no way affected our stay”

“We stayed here for a quieter experience, and it was worth it! It is in a fantastic location—walkable to Laglio, and just a few minutes’ drive to Como or Tremezzo. The kitchen is well-equipped and allowed me to make some nice meals, which we enjoyed on the terrace. The views and the pool are exceptional! The only suggestion is to update the bathrooms a little. Overall, this was a real highlight of our stay in Lake Como.”

“My family and extended family, a party of 10, booked Poggio Verde for 4 nights in June. Communication with Gretchen the year leading up to the stay was effective, quick, professional and friendly. “We had a lovely time watching the moon rise over the mountain each night from one of several balconies in the house. Our host was very responsive and helpful. When we arrived, we were presented the home in a friendly manner. A beautiful home to enjoy Lake Como. Walking distance to the town center.”

“Villa Lucia was very pretty and spacious. Communication was very good and they were super courteous. It is a more quiet neighborhood closer to Como but further from other areas such as Bellagio, etc. there are a few local restaurants nearby but no nearby groceries. Three bathrooms were very helpful, the terraces could have been a little more clean. Otherwise, I highly recommend. ”
