“We had a great time, and with a few minor fixes, this will be a fantastic place to stay. The location was just right for us: a 15 minute walk to the beach, a 10 minute walk to Harris Teeter. Nice, quiet street, easy access to drive to various destinations. The house is a great space for a family, with a large living room, which was a little echo-y and could use an area rug and some wall coverings like tapestries to make it a little less reverberant. Big beautiful kitchen. Upstairs tub/shower...

“Found a spacious beautiful home. Did find the blender at the house broke due to the shaft being rounded out and exterior rear lights need cleaned and bulb changed. Also I'm my opinion 11 would be an easier check out time. We took 2 trash cans to the street as needed.”

“Friendly and inviting space. Great spot for our quick overnight stay. Definitely look at using again if need to return to the area.”

“We stayed here for a small family reunion over Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking a Thanksgiving dinner. I brought my own turkey roaster but everything else was provided. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Of course the pool was closed in November but we would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool and the beach, which is a short walk. Overall I would recommend this property. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with two exceptions: plumbing may need redoing - clanky pipes, slow to get hot water for showers, and low water pressure if running washing machine; and, coffeemaker had old, moldy and very smelly used grounds left in it. My daughterspent about an hour cleaning the coffeemaker with vinegar and soap and water. Beds very comfortable, porches much appreciated, as was the fireplace. Thank you for sharing this beautiful house with us!”

“Positively beautiful view, excellent location, layout great. Bathrooms and Kitchen were clean and well maintained. Some suggestions: put a handrail at pool steps, vents,especially on wall in living room were filthy. Outside windows covered with bugs. Beach chairs and umbrella were all broken. For some reason hot water came out of both faucets in both masters. Minor changes would really enhance one’s stay but otherwise an enjoyable week.”

“Overall this property is nice. It is an older home with charm but also with general wear and age being by the ocean. The property could use a sprucing up and the kitchen ware is older. There is a musty smell but it is not over powering and expected with the age of the home and its location. My critical feedback is on the management side of our vacation. The company only offers one complimentary toilet paper roll, garbage bag, and paper towel roll, so if you plan to stay longer be prepared to buy...

“Our stay was okay. The house was in an excellent location to the beach, however very difficult to find from the road. The house was a great size & the beds were so comfortable. I rate this with a 3 because I felt like there were several things that desperately need updated. The faucets in the bathroom were heavily rusted and leaking. When taking a shower, our faucet diverter broke so we werent able to take a shower the last day of our stay. There is not much of an ocean view as there is a lot of...

“This was a great location and property to host Christmas dinner for our family (local and out of state). Limited parking but the property exceeded expectations!”

“The house is a great location just a few things we did not like, the water pressure is not great. There are no places in the bathroom or your bedroom to hang a hand towels, wash cloths or bathtowels. Very few dishes.”

“This is one of the cleanest and well equipped homes I have ever rented. The description and pics are completely accurate. Beds were comfy. Kitchen laid out well. Easy to communicate with the host and very responsive. Views incredible from inside and outside. Location was awesome - literally 60 steps and you are putting your beach chair down. “The house was well suited for our reunion of ODU college roommates. It is a quick drive to ODU and there are restaurants and a grocery store close by. Cheree was very responsive in answering questions and providing assistance. ”

“Perfect house - no issues at all. Beautiful home in excellent condition. Host was a joy to work with. Very comfortable beds, clean, great location. Would absolutely come back again.”

“The property is a few blocks off the beach providing easy access to shops and restaurants on the boardwalk. With the exception of a moldy shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom, the condo interior was very clean and well maintained. While the kitchen is a nice size, there could be a few more plates and bowls available for use. It is also worth pointing out that, 21 1/2 street is a narrow alley with very limited space making it extremely tough to get in and out of the parking area. ”
