“Beautiful location overlooking Lough Swillly. Golf course and beach are 2 minutes away. Loved staying at the house with great facilities and really comfortable beds. Liam is a very accommodating host, always available and checking that we had all that we needed. Highly recommended!”

The directions state that guests need to replace wood or peat used for the tiny stove in the living room - but there were no instructions on where to obtain the replacement fuel. “Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom.”
