“This house was lovely! David was so incredibly nice and accommodating, even offering sleds to my boys so we could go sledding. We had such a great time and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The yard is fenced in for our dogs, too! ”

“The house and property were beautiful. The perfect winter Vermont weekend getaway we were looking for. Sledding for the kids and wood stove to keep cozy by. A couple of issues we had were two smoke detectors chirping low battery as soon as we arrived, and while the house did seem clean, there was evidence of rodent nesting in the kitchen. Vacasa quickly offered to come out. I recommend that VRBO indicate 4WD required in winter. This was not indicated on the VRBO website and we didn't see...

“Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor. ”

“The place is right in town within eyeshot of the trailhead, and a stone’s throw from the Tiki Bar (a landmark for cyclists). Interior is excellent, fully updated and great for a group (6 beds, large kitchen, big dining table and comfortable living room). Has a lockable bike shed too. We stayed for three days (rode for 2 and skied for 1). Had an amazing time, will be back!”

“The house was just perfect, in a perfect location with a beautiful scenery. Nicole (host) was always on top of everything and readily available to help. We had a small issue with the heater but the owner reacted even before we noticed and resolved the issue in less than 30 minutes.”
