“There are many things we LOVED about this stay. The doube sided fireplace, the huge soaking tub, the double balconies with the beautiful views. The bed was very comfy and the hotel is very convenient to all things Camden. However, there was a piece of trash that was left in the shower along with what appeared to be a cleaning rag. “What can I say? This hotel is absolutely amazing…fantastic…wonderful. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe it. I spend half the year traveling…mostly overseas. I stay in countless hotels. I think this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I live in Maine about an hour and a half away from Rockport. My wife and I needed to get away from things for a weekend. I found this on hotels.com, and thought I would give it a try. Boy, did we hit the jackpot. A LOT of thought went into this hotel....

“Extremely easy self-check in after hours. Property was clean and staff checking out the next morning was very friendly and personable. Only comment was that floor seemed a little uneven - part of the charm of an older property I guess! Very quiet off-season stay - would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Close to many amenities. Didn't sit down to breakfast, but charming porch seemed to have a pretty decent selection of options, and the juice I grabbed to go was good!”

“The staff was super friendly and I did get an upgraded room with a beautiful view of Rockland Harbor but the reading lights and outlets did not work truly not an issue since I was only there one night. “We had a whole cottage with a spa bath and a separate bedroom to ourselves. The bed was comfortable! Besides a few splatters on the wall in the kitchenette area and the bathroom, this place was CLEAN. “Lovely roomy inn in South Bristol, Maine on Christmas cove. The hosts Alex a nd Freddy were very friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious with a private full bath. There is a tower you can go up to via several staircases to an amazing view overlooking the water and pine trees. The made to order breakfasts were delicious. Lots of beverages available at anytime. We had some nice conversations. They are still remodeling and redecorating some areas from their new owership a year ago. ”
