“Was warmly welcomed given room and paid no problems room was on ground floor no45 unfortunately the bar area was quite close and very noisy due to a builders Christmas party in full swing doing karaoke I persevered for an hour as I needed sleep I asked if I could move to another room and was instantly moved upstairs to a quiet room which was perfect So thanks for been so helpful great nights sleep good breakfast so after a iffy start it was a great stay thanks ”

“Excellent... Good happy greetings when we arrived. The bed was amazing, best sleep for ages. Ate in the evening, no gammon or curry so had to have soup. But, the soup wasn't what i expected from a veg soup, totally brilliant. This is not the first we have stayed at Appleby Park and it wont be the last.”

“Just needed a place to stay on our way to London and ended up in Melbourne. The room we got at Harpur's was in excelent condition. Clean, Good standardA little noice from the street outside but that didn't bother us. Very good service. Had a excelent dinner at their restaurant and a couple of beers. We had 2 weeks of touring around britain, and Harpur's was one of the better places we stayed in. Very good value. Doesn't hurt that Melbourne was a very nice town/village that we never heard of...
