“The house is absolutely beautiful! The deck overlooking the river took everyone’s breath away. It was a perfect stay. Lots of room in the house. Clean and cozy. 15 minutes from Mohegan Sun. There’s not a lot of condiments to cook/eat with which is totally fine, really just a heads up to bring your own pepper, ketchup, etc. We would 10/10 recommend this place. ”

“Beautiful home close to the Sound. Our stay was in February and just happened to coincide with a winter storm. The house was very cozy for my husband and I and our 4 teens. “We visited to celebrate a birthday. The space was perfect for the 4 of us. The location was great as well, walking distance to downtown. We all enjoyed ourselves and loved the decor and snacks left by the host. They even left a birthday present for our friend! We will definitely be back!”

A gem of a motel!

"Staying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back porch. If any downside; the table is not really suitable as a workstation, but fine for the breakfast. (Which consists of muffins, very fresh fruit!! and coffee and is brought to your door). It is a snack more than a proper breakfast.. just to note. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend! The price was a bit on the high side, but it is summer and Mystic is popurlar...."
