“Super easy to park and get into the place with instructions sent in plenty of time. Kitchen had all of the things we needed. This is an old home -- the stairs are steep and the floors are all wonky. But it has lots of character and is comfortable! The house is right on the road so you can hear traffic, but at night it was quiet. Heating system was easy to figure out. “Hotel didn’t have out reservation even after we had paid for it - took an hour to check in at midnight - parking lot was full of random activity and people all hours of night and hall ways smelled like weed. Clientele was shady and co within of hotel rooms and surrounding area was dirty, worn out, in need of maintenance and overall place was a dump. Checked out a day early and forfeited a night because place was so disgusting. Expedia needs to remove them from hotel options and do a better job...

“On the sixth anniversary of our daughter’s passing, we got together with another daughter, her husband, and their Australian shepherd dog for family time. It was chilly, but we enjoyed our time together. Mystic is a lovely spot, even in early March. Your home was a lovely oasis for us. Thank you!”

“Pulling into the driveway of this home, you feel like you are in Watch Hill. The stone walls, perfectly maintained landscaping, outdoor fire pit and porch exude luxury resort. The well appointed kitchen, large dining table and seating areas provide ample space to relax and enjoy meals. So happy to have found a wonderful place close to the beach and everything you need.”

“The property is exactly as described, if not even better! It was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and roomy, and had everything we needed. We hit Mystic on a rainy long week-end but we didn't even mind because the house was so comfortable to just hang out there. The location is perfect so we could run to the great stores, restaurants, and Mystic Seaport in between rain showers. Also had great communication with the hosts. Would definitely recommend and would love to do many return...

Even the bathroom was just adorable with the floral tile! It was very clean and the perfect size for us (could easily accommodate more than 2 with the pull out sofa). Minutes away from Stonington and Mystic, there is so much to do. We will definitely be back! I already miss hearing all the birds while sitting on the back porch swing.”

“My husband and I came for our 10th wedding anniversary and we were greeted in the apartment with an anniversary card and present. I’m also a celiac and they provided a bunch of gluten free snacks. The apartment was clean and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We would highly recommend to all! ”

Sängen inte bäddad !!

"Hotellet var ok, ligger lite off om man vill gå till hamnen i Mystic. Det krävs bil eller väldigt bekväma skor och 1 timmars promenad. Rummet var stort och bra. Besvikelsen kom när vi skulle lägga oss och tog bort överkastet. Sängen hade bara ett skrynkligt underlakan. När vi påpekade detta fick vi till svar att det var bäddat och att de tvättar överkastet varje dag. Inte sant och även om så bäddar man sängen med lakan absolut inte med bara ett överkast. Jag har bott på hotell flera hundra gånger och bara varit med om det på vandrarhem. Underbetyg helt oacceptabelt!!!"

A gem of a motel!

"Staying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back porch. If any downside; the table is not really suitable as a workstation, but fine for the breakfast. (Which consists of muffins, very fresh fruit!! and coffee and is brought to your door). It is a snack more than a proper breakfast.. just to note. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend! The price was a bit on the high side, but it is summer and Mystic is popurlar...."
