“It was a better-than-average experience but the place could use some updating. The bathtub/shower experience was complicated due to old plumbing, and the floors were creaky. Due to close proximity to other rooms, guest movement was loud. The local commuter train was VERY loud (late at night and early in the morning), so my sleep quality was very poor. “First impression was very clean and who ever the cleaning team is are great , also place was spacious and cozy. I loved the bedroom with the hammack swing and words of aspiration on the wall and set up in room where we could also capture pictures of our moments in this beautiful home and i cant wait to vidit dc again in the bear future and book this place again.”

“The property was so close to Capital Hill and the surrounding sights which we were in DC to visit. This made our stay very convenient and memorable. With the parking permit we could leave our vehicle on the street overnight for our entire stay. The room we stayed in was cozy and quiet and had all the amenities we required. This unit definitely took the stress out of our visit to Washington DC. Even strolling through the neighborhood to get groceries was pleasurable.”

“Once we got in, the spot was lovely. Beautifully decorated, incredible well stocked and furnished, totally perfect for meeting up and accessing dc. Heads up recognizing the tiny secret door between a barber shop and a liquor store was hard to recognize so we were a lotttle uncomfortable getting there at night. Worth it!”

“Great place to stay. Close to metro and some fun places just a few blocks away. Arrived late in the evening, took the host suggestion for the Wonderland Ballroom. Had a terrific evening! Beds are comfortable, Carlton is a fantastic host. Would definitely recommend.Be sure to visit Tequila & Mezcal if you like Mexican. ”

“We came to DC to enjoy the Cherry Blossom trees in bloom & see the history of our nation. We took Ubers to the National Mall & the Zoo which only took minutes to get to & from. The property was delightful, bright, comfortable. We stayed a week & never had problems. Since we flew there from NM, we didn’t have a cutting knife to use for the kitchen so that would be my only suggestion to supply one. Thank you for a great experience!”
