“We had a very bad stay. A scary, old room with bad and uncomfortable beds and a hole in the ceiling. The ceiling of the bathroom was full of black mold. Our stay at this guest house was a nightmare in every sense. We had no alternative but this guesthouse to spend that night in Culebra Island, but if I had known about the conditions of this guesthouse when booking, I would have never booked it even if it cost me not to see the most famous and beautiful beach of Puerto Rico, Flamenco Beach.”

“El Blok is a cool design hotel in the heart of Esperanza. Unfortunately we never experienced the service you would hope for. The front desk was not service minded or helpful, the room smelled moldy and the view is hard to experience since the blocks are covering it. The bar and restaurant were nice and vibrant, roof top cool but under used. We will for sure return to Vieques but will not consider El Blok for our future stays. ”

“The Esperanza Inn was the perfect place for us. Our stay was short but Suzann was lovely and provided us with tips on where to go to maximize our time on Vieques and enjoy beautiful parts of the island. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Om det inte vore för att det var väldigt dyrt hade vi gärna valt hotellet igen, men vi tycker inte att priset riktigt gjorde det värt att förlänga vår vistelse utan flyttade vidare till ett annat boende för vår tredje och sista natt på ön. Maten var också bra med lite väl dyr. Fördrog att gå ner till bargatan för att äta billigare och även det mycket gott!”

“We have visited Vieques a couple of times. This hotel is so nice! Sean and Paul are excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating. An adult only, with coffee and toasts for breakfast included next to a beautiful pool. It is surrounded by mountains but minutes from the beaches. The location makes it an ideal place to relax. Add the comfort of the bed and you will be new the next day! ”
