We've stayed in this area at least 5 times in the last 3 years. Linda's home is by far the best, and we hope to return annually. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a huge fire pit, clean hot tub, al fresco dining on the screened porch or by the grill. The waterfall and landscaping are beautiful and we noticed no road noise yet were 5-10 minutes from groceries, dining, and biking activities. Twenty minutes had us in Hendersonville, Brevard, or parts of Asheville or in Dupont and Pisgah for great biking. Linda's home is the first we've staying where we actually changed our plans because we wanted to spend time IN the house. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans of all sizes, blender, mixer, toaster, Keurig, indoor and outdoor dishes. Blackout shades in the bedrooms helped us sleep in after our active days. Our tween boys enjoyed the music from the TVs, corn hole in the backyard, and wildlife (we saw a white squirrel, groundhog, wild turkeys, deer, and (not so wild) cows). While we were only 4 in our group, I believe 6 could be fit well if all shared beds (which were so comfortable). Linda even had a fall scarecrow and pumpkin display out front and a bottle of wine in the house to greet us when we arrived. She clearly has great attention to detail and I expect will care well for this rental. We were a little unsure about staying at a place that did not have reviews, but we hit the jackpot!
