“I came here with my son for his fall break. We loved it. The hotel is very close to mountain town and the gondola, so many amazing hikes near by (Maybe a 3 minute walk) The free spa and gym were nice. The staff was very accommodating. My only complaint was that the beds were hard, But I am a little high maintenance so others might find them just fine. I would absolutely stay again. I loved the views and I love Telluride. We will be back to ski next time ”

“I was overall happy with my stay at the Fairmont FKL, with one very important exception (listed under cons below). Pros: Close to the gondola, has a nice spa and decent gym. Mostly friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Okay level of cleanliness. Cons: Rooms do NOT look like they do in the hotel photos, they are dated and in need of a renovation. “This little studio is adorable. Decorated very nice. The only thing that was kind of a bummer was there really wasn't much of a kitchen at all. There was a microwave, a hot plate, and a refrigerator but the space was too small. There was a table with 2 stools, but other than that, nowhere to sit. It was fairly clean though, and the property was very quiet, which we very much enjoyed. Also, the check in/check out process was super simple. Overall, cute place for a couple but plan on eating out. ”

“This property is older than some, but very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the fact that it is right by the river is an added bonus. The sitting area outside by the river with the hot tub is peaceful and relaxing. The hairdryer in my room did not work, and there was no soap in the shower. Also, the TV was very confusing to operate. In spite of these things I loved staying there and would again.”

We messaged the host asking about air conditioning and was met with a patronizing reply telling us to open the window. It was 77 degrees and sunny, the room was stuffy, one of the windows wouldn't stay open, and the fan available in the closet had a broken control dial. The location was fantastic and the room...
