“This is a fabulous hotel and properly fulfills it's name. It has an astonishing location, the surrounding is beautiful. Walking distance to Verbania, nice grass lawn to take sun, enjoy the view and swim in the lake or the nice spa pool. Ok gym. Breakfast ok for us who enjoy fresh fruit, ham, cheese and some sweets. The best thing with GM is the humble and low key atmosphere. Staff is courteous and speak softly, the breakfast room and "beach" are is quiet, even though we travelled with kids. Will...

"Toppen städning. Trevligt poolområde och trädgård. Frukosten är dock inget att skryta om. Det är lite lyhört och man hör när tågen avgår."

"Vi bokade ett trippelrum och det var stort och rymligt. Kändes dock lite märkligt med en jaccuzzi precis bredvid sängen... Med tanke på rummets storlek hade det absolut fått plats en soffa eller ett par fåtöljer vilket hade varit trevligt. Det var rätt stökigt i frukostmatsalen med hög ljudvolym och det hade varit trevligt med någon mer sorts grönsak än bara några coctailtomater i en skål. Hotellet ligger långt från Como stad men är man beredd att betala för taxi/Uber så är det inga problem. "

A good hotel with some missing points

"It was a nice hotell with a helpful staff. The location is good, just 15 minutes walking to the lake and the city's buzz. We lived in a suite premium with a partly lake view. No point to pay for a full lake view as it's far away. Currently the view is spoiled by the building works and a big crane next to the hotell. The breakfast was boring, all the same and not so much to choose from. You need to ask the restaurant staff to make you something you like, and they are helpful. Ask for coffee from the kitchen, it's better than from the coffee machine in the dining hall. The water in the pool was cold as well. The indoors pool is warmer. "

Toppservice!

"Fantastiskt mottagande av personalen som tog emot oss vid ankomsten. Underbart ställe med fantastisk utsikt. Då vi körde elbil erbjöds en laddplats utan extra kostnad. Mycket vänligt. Dock lite märkligt att när vi ville äta i restaurangen verkade det inte finnas plats för hotellgästerna? Märkligt kan man tycka.. "
