“Great location in the Cotswolds if you are in the area to visit friends or for a special occasion. Great proximity to High Grove and superb foreign staff that go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Hope they all stay after Brexit. Good food, not super local but surely a great opportunity for locals to experience more international flavours.”

“Vi bokade detta ställe för att få en lyxig avslutning på vår semester. Det blev både bra och dåligt. Vi fick rum i huvudbyggnaden som låg ovanför bastun och hade olidligt varmt på rummet. Det fanns en lite AC som vi kunde koppla in och ställa i fönstret på max för att åtgärda detta. Andra minuset var att gymmet och poolen inte var dimensionerade för antalet gäster. Det gick inte att simma i bassängen och gymmet var litet, med få maskiner för styrka men flera löpband, cyklar och roddmaskinen. I...

“Good, clean rooms. Be very careful with the location though, as the gps coordinates from hotels.com are totally off and will send you to the middle of nowhere. The correct location is the official address, not the gps nor the google maps provided from hotels.com.”

“Charming and cosy with the horses and donkeys walking around the place. Loved the bar in the garden. The food wasn’t great, I had the driest angus burger in my life. The service could be better. A pipe burst so we had no water for a couple of hours in the morning and the staff didn’t bother to give you some bottled water to brush your teeth in or tell you were you could use a toilet. ”

“Vi kom med bil för att stanna 4 nätter och hade planerat att resa omkring, men det fanns så mycket i närområdet så vi använde aldrig bilen. Vi promenerade ca 7-10 km varje dag och besökte fina pubar. Vi shoppade och vi åt gott på kvällarna på olika ställen. Bästa var Jesse´s bistro. Enda negativa om Fleece var att det var mycket lyhört. Jag väckte hunden i intilliggande rum när jag hostade på natten och man kunde höra grannarna prata och gå omkring. Därför inte 5 plus.”

“Our room (deluxe) was very pleasant and comfortable, however the windows were small and facing onto a courtyard/wall, so the room was very dark. We had to the lights on, even during the day. Would chose another room, facing the square or higher up, if we were to come back. ”

“Period property with it's quirks. Staff very friendly. Ample parking. Rooms clean with a nice touch of adding quality items in the room (tea pigs tea bags, Molton Brown etc) Breakfast excellent.”
