“What an absolutely lovely hotel. The staff are so friendly and the service impeccable. Our room was so large and the bed was the most comfortable ever! Absolute star of the show is the restaurant in the evening. This is Michelin star worthy food. Totally unexpected and absolutely delicious. We were sad not to have more time here as we didn’t have a chance to use the spa or explore the grounds (which looked gorgeous). I can’t recommend this hotel enough. ”

A full length mirror would have made it perfect. 15 minutes from Bridport via some rather narrow lanes. Nice to have a reasonable check in time so we could enjoy a drink in the garden area ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The ground floor is perfect for a large group with a well equipped kitchen, cozy lounge and a dining room which easily seats 14/15 adults. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and nearly all with en-suites. The house is well located within easy reach of Dorchester, Bridport and the coast. Highly recommended.”

“We had a lovely stay, the property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location for us was great, if you like walking then highly recommend. Within 40 minutes drive there is a large number of places to visit and the village has everything you need. Pub within a couple of minutes walk as well as shops for supplies. Would happily stay here again.”

“A beautiful home , where 9 members (age3-71 of our family enjoyed 6 nights . Plenty of room, everything you could need for self catering, lovely garden with hot tub in a fantastic setting. Communication with Gill was prompt and efficient. We visited Lulworth Cove and Weymouth, as well as Kingston Maurward Animal park( free), and had Sunday lunch at nearby Brewers Arms. Lots of nice walks too. I can certainly recommend this property .”
