“It was a good hotel, with nice views. We got the deluxe room with lakeview. It was big and was nice with both a bathtub and shower. Something we noticed that areas for storage was missing, even though the room was big and there was plenty of space to put up some more benches/shelves. We kept most of our things on the floor. Other than that, nice staff, close to all restaurants and stargazing places. Easy to park. ”

“We stayed here on our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised by Lake Tekapo. We had a fantastic view from our room and I just spent every opportunity sitting by the balcony and staring out to the lake. Room was very spacious and had everything you needed. Staff were helpful and friendly and they provide several recommendations for things to do and see if the area. We were even able to use the coin laundry for guests which was super convenient timing for our stay. Would definitely recommend...

“Basic housing in a fairly new property. It's prefab bulit, so it's not fancy. It's on the smallish side. It's in a new section of town. There is no view of the lake.”

“It's a good place, but we paid twice what we paid for other places on our 4,5 week trip and this wasn't worth it. There are shared bathrooms that are ok and a nice kitchen area, but you are not allowed to drink or eat in you room and we had to remove dovets and pillowcases ourselves and put in their laundry basket. It was also a lot of noise, music and people opening and closing doors. It's not big stuff but really, for that price, nope. ”

“The room was great, staff were friendly and helpful. The food at the Chamois was amazing, better even than the buffet at the Hermitage. ”

“It is a nice spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to the town center with shops, restaurants and supermarket. Unfortunately, the management didn't clean the apartment thoroughly because there was still strong odor (food smell / cooking from previous occupants). Also there was no paper towels or dish / cleaning cloths in the kitchen. Good thing was that the bedrooms upstairs were not impacted by the odor.”

“Owners very friendly and helpful, beautiful room, exceptionally clean, everything you need for your stay, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, microwave, washing machine/dryer, hanging area, space for suitcases, chairs, table, could not ask for anymore than what was offered. Would not hesitate to stay again. Loved our stay.”

“Great views on Mt. Cook. ”

“Kitchen and shower room was i big need of updating. Didn’t like to go in there, all equipment was really old, outdated and not very clean. Wifi just for 30 minutes, beds nomto great and so on… nice staff by reception thou 🙂”
