“The place is perfectly located, beautiful mountains view with an incredible sunset watching point. It has a great proximity to Santa Elena, Monteverde and all attractions around. Communication with the host is very smooth. Yaloco Chalet is semi-glamping accomodation though (tent door in the main bedroom), it is a bit challenging to rest when you have a light sleep - quite noisy with wind and/ or rain. Other than that it was a nice 2-nights' stay.”

“Wonderful experience. The rooms are all along a steep hill and have great views. We were given Room 28 Premium King bed which is close to the top of the hill and the views were stunning. The hotel has a number of golf carts and someone can take you up there if you need help. The grounds are beautiful and there are trails behind the property which lead to the Aguti reserve to which the hotel provides free admission. The staff and service was excellent as was the hotel restaurant, El Sapo. ...

“We had some issues with our booking, it said on hotels.com that the hotel had a gym. But upon arrival the staff said there had never been one. We complained twice but were dismissed by two different people from the staff. Eventually we involved the manager and a solution was arranged with a nearby cross fit hall. They also gave us an upgrade to a master suite. It was a hassle but well-handled by the management. However, the rooms are generally outdated. The jacuzzi was barely heated....
