“This house was perfect for out 2-couple group preparing for the hike. Very spacious (we all had room to pull out, compare & pack our hiking gear into backpacks) and comfortable. Nice to have a separate “tv room” from the living room. Quiet neighborhood and our parking spot in front of the house was always available to us. Nice coffee machine options and the individual AC & fan controls in each bedroom was great.”

“Exactly as pictured a designer’s dream. Joost was super responsive and check in was flawless. The beds were super comfortable and the air conditioning was powerful (or stay was during summer). The location was ideal and provided for a perfect opportunity to experience the Alabama Hills numerous times a day under different light conditions as it was only 5 minutes away. ”

“Lone East is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. It’s unique layout with separate bedroom and living area make for plenty of quiet spots for reflection. The views are breathtaking and the cows in the pasture next door are fun to watch. We stayed here needing a base camp for our Mt Whitney summit and it is perfect for that. Very close to the portal. A weekend stay here alone or with a loved one would be a great place to reconnect with your spirit. Lydia was very nice and took care of any...
