Mycket tyst och soligt med fantastisk utsikt över Alfama tak och floden Tagus

Lägenheten ligger i hjärtat av det medeltida moriska och judiska kvarteret Alfama, och har en fantastisk utsikt över vattnet över Tagus mynning. Inom gångavstånd från många av Lissabons ledande museer och monument ligger lägenheten i närheten av lokala livsmedelsaffärer och stormarknader samt närliggande restauranger, kaféer, barer samt eklektiska butiker av alla slag.

Lägenheten ligger i en byggnad från 1700-talet inbäddat i en brant sluttning av en av Lissabons kullar, 100 meter över havet. Så medan dess huvudsakliga och privata ingång är på bottenvåningen, kan du njuta av den fantastiska floden från andra våningens balkonger på andra sidan lägenheten, utan att behöva klättra upp några trappor.

Wonderful stay in Alfama
We had a great stay at this apartment in Alfama. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, we would have drinks most nights looking out the window and enjoying the breeze. The location was perfect and Ana answered any questions we had very promptly. Nadina, the driver she arranged for us, was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation

Thoughtful hosts and lovely place
This was a fantastic place! We really loved it, it was comfortable and a brilliant location. The toys they put together for our kids were so thoughtful and the communication throughout was helpful and informative. Only thing that would improve the apartment is air conditioning but there were lots of fans which meant it was cool enough!

Delightfully quaint
The property has a different layout, but they utilized the space so well. We were very comfortable. We loved the view of the Tagus out the windows. The apartment was clean as well as the bathroom -but the tub is not friendlynif you are prone to slipping-like me! I will say, our 6 year old locked us out of our apartment on accident and the reaponse from our hosts was immediate very laid back. There were plenty of grocery shops nearby and cafes and they have a binder in the apartment to assist you in finding shops and parks and restaurants! Be prepared to walk! The transportation around the apartment was extremely reliable and efficient, but we found we only used it for our day trips-we mainly walked everywhere! We loved it. We found we had more than we needed within the apartment for cooking and hanging out there on our lazy days. So thankful to have such a nice property to have called home!

Best place to stay with small children
Without a doubt, best place to stay with small children, ages 2 and 4. Fully equiped, felt like home with cooking essentials, high chair, potty, crib, extra beds, toys and childrens books galore. Small private second bedroom for children. Beautiful view of the river. Tons of light and open space. In the center of Alfama, close to great city views, restaurants, trams, fado. We loved our stay and will return!

Charming stay in Alfama
Ana and Pedro were lovely and helped us with so many things. First we needed to find a parking lot for our car and they have suggestions. They actually met us at the entrance the neighborhood to show us how to get to the apartment and then Pedro drove with us to lot to leave our car. Great service!! The place was perfect for our needs, except the renters upstairs were loud late into the night. This was no fault of Ana and Pedro. Just unfortunate. Pedro went and talked to the neighbors which helped to quiet things down. Top notch service.

Great apartment, location & service
The apartment is wonderful with little touches that matter when traveling with littles (toys, laundry detergent, excessive towels). The location is incredible with Fado outside your window. The garbage cans, which are directly outside the window, are emptied in the middle of the night (every night), which as many reviews suggest can be noisy.

Magical stay in Lisbon

Fantastic Property and Services
Property is in great location. Alfama district is loaded with restaurants, coffee shops, and Fado open mike places. Can be heard from the property. When researching for places to stay in Lisbon, I couldn't believe all 100+ reviews of the property gave a "5" star rating. Once there, the ratings were confirmed. Starts off with the check-in process. Ana was very thorough and kicked off a very great stay in Lisbon, The property had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Incredible Apartment in the Lovely Alfama Neighborhood
I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful apartment in the heart of Alfama. My wife and I stayed here for five nights and we loved everything about it. The apartment itself is incredible. It is quite large and hosted the two of us very comfortably. Its views of the historic Alfama neighborhood out the windows and Portuguese balconies are breathtaking. The apartment is stocked with everything you could need. As for the location, it cannot get any better if you are looking to stay in the quieter, less touristy area of Alfama. For my wife and I, we were so glad we stayed in Alfama. This area felt much quainter and less touristy than some of the other areas of Lisbon. At night you could hear fado music from the local restaurants and we often interacted with locals in the neighborhood which was very cool. The walk into the main parts of Lisbon was about 15 - 20 minutes which for us was not bad at all. Ana and the team were incredible to work with and she was there for our every question and request. This apartment is truly a gem in Lisbon.

Cutest apartment in the heart of Lisbon
This apartment is absolutely perfect with an amazing view of the river. It's quiet at night and with the doors open you can hear the Fado performances at the local restaurants. It's within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and cafes. Our personal favorite is the Clara Clara Cafe - the most delicious Portuguese bread with yet another amazing view! We did need to Uber to more of a night life in the Barrio Alto neighborhood but Uber is extremely affordable. Our host was amazing and maintained contact with us the entire trip to make sure our needs were being met. I highly recommend this place!

August Visit
I shared this apartment with my brother for a 2 night, 3 day stay in Lisbon. It's a fantastic place, right in the heart of Alfama. Clean and comfortable with a water view. We loved the old world feel of the apartment, but with all of it modern conveniences, TV, Wi-fi etc. Location-wise it was a great jumping off point. We explored Lisbon widely from here. We walked everywhere from the apartment with no need for public transport; locally through Alfama, to downtown Lisbon, the Barrio Alta and along the Avenue de Liberdade to the the Parque Eduardo VII. Bruno was a terrific host. Great communication in advance of arrival, met me at 6AM to check me in, very friendly, available for any questions throughout the stay and a ton of information on things to do, places to go, places to eat. etc. I would highly recommend it. Cute apartment, great location
We enjoyed our stay. The apartment feels smaller than it is because of how the rooms are connected, but it's well-appointed. If you're staying on the twin mattress, know that it's not bad, but it gets bright in that room early, if you were planning on sleeping in. The queen room is nice as well, stays darker, and has a nice dressing area. The bathroom and shower are nice - good water pressure. The location is fantastic - we were able to walk / tram / scooter to just about anywhere we wanted to go. You really can't beat the view! I do wish it had been easier to get to by Uber - note that most had trouble getting to the door and dropped us off up the hill, so we had to navigate a set of stairs with luggage. Our return trip to the airport was arranged by our host (30€, pricey) but went more smoothly.

Beautiful view, lovely neighborhood
I stay at the property was absolutely delightful! The decor was done wonderfully, the apartment was bright and spacious. Pedro checked us in and gave us a really detailed rundown of what to do and what to eat in the city. The apartment contains all the amenities we needed. There are grocery stores nearby within walking distance. The streets have a lot of cobblestones and getting dropped off maybe a bit of a challenge so be prepared to walk. They do offer car service with door-to-door pickup. Overall we had a wonderful time and went definitely stay here again!!
