Pet and family friendly-3 bedroom home-MSU Campus 10 min away!

Pet friendly home located in Moores Park neighborhood. There are three bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor and 1/2 bath on the first floor. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the other two bedrooms have queen sized beds. There is a fully stocked kitchen with large dining room that seats 8. The living room is a comfortable space to watch movies on the large flat-screen TV or snuggle up next to the gas fireplace and read a good book. The laundry room is conveniently located off the kitchen on the main floor. There is a fenced in back yard to keep your pet safe and dog door available if you choose to use it. Free Wifi is available during your stay.
Moores Park is a few blocks away where you can access the Lansing River trail, fishing, boat launch and playground for kids. We are centrally located to highway access to 496, 96, U.S. 127 and 69. Downtown Lansing, the State Capitol, Impression 5 Science center, Lugnuts baseball stadium and R.E. Olds Transportation Museum are all 5 min away. We are an even shorter distance to Reo Town located on Washington Avenue, just minutes from the home. Michigan State University is not far with just a 10 minute drive to campus, shopping and many restaurants available to choose from.

If you are seeking a relaxing atmosphere with easy access to some of the best Lansing has to offer, this is the place.

Girl's weekend
This property is delightful! It was the perfect size for the three of us, allowing us to have our own sleeping space. The kitchen was well equipped for us to have breakfast and coffee both mornings and eat in one night. We were within 15 minutes of all of our activities and the parking at the house easily accommodated our two vehicles. The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. And our host was easy to communicate with, while the check in and check out process was very easy. Would absolutely stay here again if I needed a place in Lansing.

Beautiful old house
A lovely old house, very clean, well stocked. The bed is comfortable, the linens smell divine. Conveniently located by a park and the river walk, for those bringing dogs. Be aware that, because it is an old house, the floors are VERY loud. This was not a problem for just the two of us, but I imagine it could be an issue if you had a bunch of people on different schedules. Also the checkout time has little wiggle room, even if nobody is renting right after, so make sure that will work for you. Overall a very lovely stay!

Great Stay
Super conveniently located. Nice house, with large bedrooms. 1/2 bath is small for tall people but nice to have with a family of 4. Had everything we needed and well stocked for longer stays. Dogs loved the fenced backyard and doggie door! Will stay here next visit.

Serene and calming
My family loved this house! It wasn't cluttered, and was a verys erene space. A nice, quiet neighborhood, our dog loved the yard, the beds were comfortable, and the kids loved the deep tub! The only downside was the upstairs TV didn't appear to be a smart TV and the downstairs TV had a significant lag when using the streaming capabilities. Overall though we loved it!

Travel with a barky dog
A short trip to Lansing with a small dog who barks too much to stay on a hotel. This property was perfect. A lovely 1920s house in wonderful condition. A nice walkable neighborhood close to a park on the river. 10 minutes from the university campus. We are now trying to find reasons to go back there again.

Perfect stay in Lansing
Our daughter goes to MSU, so we booked this location for the weekend since the Spartan game was Friday night and we wanted to make the most of the weekend while there. It’s located in a quaint historic neighborhood not more than 10 minutes from campus. It was perfect for us because we could bring our dogs and cook our own meals, the Grand River is a couple blocks away so my son and I were able to go fishing whenever we liked. The neighbors were super friendly, a great mixture of cool restaurants and coffee shops in the area, the overall vibe chill and peaceful. The host was very responsive and friendly, while the house was very nicely furnished, updated and clean.We will definitely try to stay here again when we come back out, we loved our stay.

4 Day Trip
This house fit our needs and overall we enjoyed the stay. Pros: Plenty of room for my family and our dogs. The shower had a very nice shower head and lots of pressure. Plenty of towels. Full size fridge. Back yard for pets that is fenced in. Price was very affordable. Close to MSU. Cons: There was no on street parking due to road work (we could park there, but then no one could get down the street because of a road closure sign). Upon entering the house, the entry way was not clean. Walls also had some stains. Floors felt gritty, so we wore slides the entire visit. One night it rained and an air conditioner in one of the bedrooms started spraying water on the bed my daughter was sleeping in, so we had to shut it off and wait for it to dry out a day and a half later in order to turn it back on. Before we left, we made sure to do all the dishes, take out the trash, and put all used towels in the washing machine. Again, overall, a good stay and worth the money.

Comfortable and Convenient
We were in town for a softball tournament and really enjoyed our stay. Very cute house with a nice fenced in back yard for our dog. Would definitely recommend to a family coming to visit the area.

Character!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was an older home with tons of character and light. Easy check-in, rapid communication with the property manager, I believe. We had no issues but the communication was welcoming and thoughtful. The property was clean, with a well stocked smaller kitchen, and we had plenty of towels. There were a lot of little extra touches included that were so appreciates. The back yard is fenced in and secure (as a pet owner I always checks for gaps and ground clearance). The neighbors were quiet and you can tell people care for their homes in this neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, the shower perfect. And to top it off, we felt a level of comfort immediately- it felt like coming home. I would not hesitate to rebook this property. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This property is very spacious, and located in a very nice neighborhood, not too far from the highway to access downtown lansing! The house was very clean, beds were comfy, and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog!! Highly recommended.

Quaint home
Beds were comfortable, nice size rooms and dining table nice size for us to play games. Sorry about the cut grass being brought into house by us and maintenance guy when he fixed sink in kitchen. He was fast. You can’t sneak around because the squeaky floors give you away but that’s what you expect from an older house in town 😊

Lovely home, charming neighborhood
Our family of 4 had a really nice stay at this home. Everything was really comfortable and we had everything we needed. Our dogs loved the fenced back yard. The neighborhood is really adorable, full of beautiful older homes and beautiful gardens. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for MSU visit.
Our stay was perfect. The location was ideal for visiting the MSU campus and the city of Landsing. It is an older home but the backyard and inside layout was great for having meals, hanging out and resting between exploring, and spending evenings together playing games. I am very impressed with the cleanliness. For some reason I tend to notice dust and dirt people tend to miss (around light switches, in corners, on baseboards and under beds). This home was exceptionally clean. My only regret is writing this review because it might be booked the next time we need it!
