“The staff was wonderful. Love the family cabin. Someone trying to get in at night… I’m assuming was a bear… was a little alarming . Other than that I had a relaxing , quiet, peaceful stay at Emerald Bay Lodge!!! Will definitely stay again. Thank you for making my vacation great!”

“This was our second stay with Black Bear lodge. We really enjoy it. It is so quiet and relaxing. We usually end up taking an afternoon nap with the fireplace on or making a cup of tea and reading on the patio or by the fireplace under the stairs. Staff is helpful and friendly and was able to get us a 10% discount to Riva Grill! Recommend this place!”

“We stayed here and went skiing at Sierra at Tahoe. Great location, Convenient to restaurants and Sierra. Extremely convenient parking right in front of the door. Nice interior. Kids loved the bunkbeds. Nicely decorated and renovated. Only complaints related to noise: the walls are thin and you can easily hear the guests in the next room. Also, the heater is noisy and makes banging noises which woke me up. The kids slept fine and it is their favorite place to stay in Southlake Tahoe.”

“This was a very clean room. This definitely is a hands off property. You have to either call or email for help. Our room door code did not work but was fixed by calling for help. The laundry code didn’t work, tried 2 diff codes then finally got in to get extra towels. No ice machine. I was told to use ice from the tray. I’m sorry but I’m not using ice from a previous traveler, in today’s world! A/C is up so high I couldn’t reach it, my husband barely could. Then, it didn’t cool the room. Thank...

“Enjoyed our stay here for a large family gathering. The space was perfect for multiple families. The open space out back allowed us to just walk out to play in the snow. The house was clean and had enough basic supplies for the stay. One of the shower doors was broken and some kitchen cabinet hinges was broken, but both did not disrupt the stay or use of the space much. Just note: check out requires trash removal, cleaning of all dishes and towels. We would definitely book again for future...

“Had an amazing stay at this property! The manager was extremely nice and very well accommodating. We were able to check-in early to be able to place groceries in the property! Location is great and just a quick drive down to the casinos/night life. Property was clean and big enough to host all of our friends and family. Thank you and would 10/10 stay again!!”
