“My family, 12 lb dog and I stayed here to get away from the New Year's ruckus. This was an excellent way to do that. The house was very spacious and comfortable so we settled in quickly. The weather was very cold when we got there, but thankfully our host left us heaters in our rooms and we had them on while the house warmed up. “Great stay, small bathroom needs some remodel work, and would recommend keeping the heaters on as it takes about 24 hours to heat up the house in the winter. ”

“Property was great. Plenty of information throughout the house identifying what was what and how to do various things around the house. If i had to complain about something would be that some newer mattresses in the main house would be ideal. I might just be getting old though lol. Pete was super helpful accommodating us staying an extra day. 10/10 nice guy”

“What a charming mountain cabin packed full of amenities! There wasn't any snow in late December when we visited, but just a short 25-minute drive up the mountain got us plenty to play in. This place sleeps a ton of people for not a whole lot of space, and comes with a decently-outfitted kitchen for cooking adventures. Would definitely visit again!”

“No outside trash container, saw roaches in bathroom and living room, pool table pictured was a toy, air conditioner was not adequate, tv reception was poor, outside yard not maintained. Drainpipe from kitchen sink not connected on outside.”

So very cool to watch and cheer them on. The house had all the amenities you could think of- meaning you could cook and not have to brimg anything from home - like OMG I forgot the can opener...Ive done that before. “We had such a great time during our stay at this property! Our group consisted of three families coming together with kids of multiple ages. Everyone slept comfortably and there were plenty of beds for all! The kids enjoyed running around the grounds. They loved looking at the horses in the morning, playing on the zip line and taking dips in the hot tub in the evenings! This place is perfectly located within the town of Kernville. Thank you again for all of the fun!”

The house was a great get away from the city life, the view, the quiet and the simple fact that everything we wanted to go do is less than 10mins away driving was a big plus. “This cottage is a short walk from the town square. The property has grills and a hot tub. There are areas to hang out both indoors and out. The property is fun to explore. Our infant slept soundly in the bedroom while we played cards outside or sat in the hot tub. The hot tub is within range for our video baby monitor.
