“My wife and I had a great time staying on Mark’s boat. The description is accurate, it’s a somewhat “roughing it” stay. This was a great stay, but would definitely be more enjoyable in cooler weather. The AC at night was a life saver, but during the day it was definitely hot. Sitting up top at night, feeling the breeze, hearing the water, and looking at the stars was wonderful though, and worth it. You definitely want some bug spray though.Mark was always quick to respond and help when needed.”

“Pool is really small. Not much to do in the area. You need a boat or other plans. It’s close to restaurants and other attractions:) Marina is very nice and clean also very quiet and night. ”

“This was my first "floating house" experience and I'm so excited to go back and bring my kids. The marina is beautiful, small, quiet, and all the patrons were so nice. “My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for Thanksgiving. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The boat was comfortable, clean, and perfect for the two of us. The process was very easy and the host provided all the info we needed. Parking was a breeze. Mind you this is a boat so to us it was like glamping. Don’t need to bring much and you need to read the directions for the toilet and follow it as it is tricky for someone not used to it. Otherwise there is a bathroom and shower conveniently...

“Aimee was wonderful with communication before our arrival date. The location is perfect, close to all activities but yet nestled away. The boat house was exactly as pictured, cute, quaint and clean. The property has an outdoor pool, bbq area and outdoor showers (my favorite!) The bar / restaurant was closed during our stay so that was a bit of a bummer but there are so many other places close by it wasn't that big of a deal. The only (slight) negative that I would say is the price. Other then...

“We really enjoyed staying on the Starfish. The bathroom is beyond super tiny, but there are a larger outdoor showers and pool bathrooms that we used. If you are a larger person, the super tiny bathrooms will be a problem. However, it won’t prevent us from returning. We loved it!”
