Vacker Kailua-Kona Condo Retreat

Njut av en hisnande havsutsikt medan du smuttar på underbart Kona-kaffe från din privata Lanai-komfort. Vår rena, välskötta lägenhet är ett fullt möblerat 2 sovrum, 2 badrum enhet. Det inkluderar ett komplett kök, vardags- / matrumsdel och Lanai. Köket har ett skafferi, gott om skåp och alla större apparater: diskmaskin, kyl, spis, mikrovågsugn, brödrost, kaffebryggare och mixer. Det finns också gott om porslin, köksredskap och bestick för att göra matlagningen lätt när du äter middag. Båda sovrummen har queen size-sängar, sängkläder, fulla garderober med galgar, byråer och nattbord. Takfläktar ingår i alla rum för att cirkulera de lugnande havbrisen. Det andra badrummet har också en tvättmaskin / torktumlare. Bekvämligheterna på hotellet inkluderar en hiss, en privat pool med havsutsikt, BBQ och 1 tilldelad parkeringsplats. Grunderna är välskötta med träd, växter och blommor som lockar färgglada fåglar. Spektakulära solnedgångar ingår varje kväll gratis. Vår lägenhet är centralt beläget i ett lugnt område inom några miles från staden Kailua-Kona och nära olika köpcentra. Det finns en underbar promenad- / cykelledning bara några kvarter från lägenheten som många gäster har haft för att välkomna starten på varje morgon. En mängd offentliga stränder i närheten lämpar sig för snorkling, surfing, picknick eller bara för att höra havets vågor eller se havsdjur som solar sig. Vi har också broschyrer om möjliga äventyr att överväga och till och med namnet och numret på en bokningsagent som serverar våra gäster med svar på frågor och förslag på öns saker att göra. Vår avsikt är att tillhandahålla en avkopplande plats att spendera tid för att verkligen njuta av Hawaii magi och anda.

Great location and views
We loved the elevation, which brought breezes through the open lanai with natural air conditioning. The main drawback is that the elevator was out of order often during our stay, and the unit is on the third floor. Sunsets and whale watching were spectacular.

Great place
The place was great! Takes a bit of time to get used to staying without doors on the rooms and on the balcony, but in the end, it was a great experience! The location is far enough from downtown to be away from all the crowds, but close enough to grab the car and be there in 5-10 minutes

Home away from home
We had great time at this spacious place. It was home away from home for 10 days. Being nature lovers, we enjoyed all the sights and sounds of the huge open area next to the property, including the geckos that used to come for the pineapples in the lanai. It is close to everything but tucked away from crowds.

Beautiful Hawaiian experience
We really enjoyed our stay; close to stores, restaurants and away from real touristy areas. We loved sitting on the Lanai, overlooking the ocean. Condo is clean and well equipped. Before leaving, you need extra time to wash and put away towels, as listed in the check out procedures.

Great stay at "treehouse"
Had a wonderful weeklong stay in June. The listing description is accurate. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai, though not of the sunset (the lanai faces southwest). Not having any doors took some adjustment, as we had bugs coming in the first night (attracted to the lights). The secret is to keep the curtains/blinds closed before it gets dark. Road noise did not bother us. Mary and Frank were responsive, and self check-in and check-out was very easy.

Perfect homebase for big island
Perfect fit for our family of 4. Tastefully decorated but not over the top. Great ocean views. Plenty of space. Kids loved the pool. Owners thought of every detail, very well provisioned, even left a guidebook to borrow. Easy access to Hawaii Belt Road outside crowded downtown Kailua Town but still close to shopping, restaurants. Only downside was road noise, but we tuned it out, and the birds were louder than traffic. Highly recommend. Would stay again!

Gorgeous view
We enjoyed this condo very much, it was nice to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, umbrella etc. The lanai was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view and sunsets. There was noise from the highway but we used a white noise app. on our phone and slept fine, there are also ear plugs provided.

First time to Kona
We really enjoyed the island and would love to come back some day. The condo was in a good central location for the general Kona area. It was not in walking distance to anything really, must have a car. The apartment had all the things needed for a nice stay, we made most meals in unit and had all we needed. The pool is not heated but wasn't really an issue, still very enjoyed by all. Finding out at the last minute there were NO doors to the patio OR the bedrooms was a bit disappointing. The sounds of the island are wonderful and part of the vacation but when light sleepers are trying to rest it was quite a challenge.

Wonderful condo above Kona.
We had a truly lovely time staying here. Great location right above Kona, close to town but not in the town on the ocean. Fantastic panoramic and relaxing views of the ocean. Very usable kitchen and great layout overall. Perfect for two people (or two couples) who want separate bathrooms and lots of joint spaces to relax. Great and communicative hosts. You DO have to walk up and down one flight of stairs to get to the elevator, which then takes you to the third floor, which is a bit of a strange design. However, the top floor is very much the place to be in this complex full of nice permanent residents (not something you’ll find in a lot of temporary stays in Kona, and a plus in my book). Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Privacy
We only see trees and ocean looking out our lanai. No buildings, or parking lots. It's beautiful. Love open air concept, no air conditioning, not a problem for us. No TV. Could've used one. Here for 3 months, and a lot of (boring) down time. Netflix to the rescue. Everything is quiet, except for one family. Nice neighbors.

Spacious condo, awesome view
We stayed here for 5 1/2 weeks in January and February 2020. The plus of this condo is that it is very spacious, with two good sized bedrooms both with full ensuite, as well as good sized kitchen, living area and lanai. The kitchen has lots of space with lots of dishes, and good new pots and pans. Nothing is lacking. The view on the lanai is absolutely awesome, with a wide expanse of ocean in the background and jungle like foreground. It was nice to have a designated and covered parking space as well as an elevator. The down side was that the condo has a somewhat grubby feel, in that the carpet is very old and worn, with a lot of stains. As is the couch - it does not look like the photo from 2011. It looked dirty and had a lot of wear as well as a rip in the upholstery. Some good cleaning and fresh paint would go a long way. And lastly, the location is very close to the highway, so traffic noise was pretty loud in the morning and at rush hour, and well into the evening. We probably spend more time at our rental than many, being seniors, so some of our concerns may not be of issue to others who are out all the time. This condo is open to the outdoors, so you can't close a door to shut out external noise. We reviewed the condo rules, and read that there was no on site manager since 2018, but the information that was on the unit when we rented said there was. Generally though, we never heard anything from the units adjacent to ours, however we did frequently hear the family on the ground floor with young kids, as well as dogs barking periodically. As stated, there are many positives about this unit, but there is room for improvement.

Nice condo close to everything in Kailua Kona
We had a great time and a comfortable stay in this condo. The view was great. There was plenty of room. The open air feeling was relaxing and inviting at the same time. I would highly recommend staying here.
