First time to Hawaii
When we arrived everything was as we expected with the exception of there not being an AC. The weather here makes an AC not necessary thank goodness! The location is perfect. It is quiet, close to town and easy to get to the different areas of the Island. The view is stunning especially the sunset from the lanai. Thank you for a great experience!! We plan to come back.

Solid choice
We booked this property fairly late and though it was once of the last units available in a desireable development, it was a good choice and a good value. Normal wear and tear was present (a bit of rust here and there, somewhat sticky screen doors, no AC, television set-up a bit awkward) but eveything else was in good shape and being right smack on the water was definitely a bonus. Keauhou Surf and Raquet Club is in a great location; close enought to town but far enough to be out of the tourist craziness and easy access to the Keauhou Shopping Center, road to Captian Cook and points south and close to the road to coffee contry (Holualoa). 2-102 is priced right for the amentiies it provides and I recommend it to anyone who wants a nice place to stay for a reasonable amount of money.

Best Lanai ever
Amazing apartment with an incredible lanai. We enjoyed every breakfast outside and watched the waves and birds. The apartment is well equipped, had beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and beach towels. There is no AC, but ceiling fans. We would definitely stay here again!

Keauhou condo
Property is lovely. Love the morning birdsong and proximity to ocean and great beaches, especially Kahaluu. Plumbing needs some attention although it all worked out for us. Property manager was very responsive. Couldn’t find a hot tub, though, and had to ask around to get pool code. Folks were super friendly.

Loved it!
This is a great condo that had a well laid out floor plan for our family of 4. Beautiful views from the lanai and primary bedroom. We had an issue with the internet, but the host and property manager were very communicative and got it resolved quickly.

Close to the water!
It was a nice property however we were really hot in the evening even with all of the fans on. AC would be really nice in the unit! The unit had lots of items to use for the beach and for cooking which we appreciated. Beds were comfy, the place was clean with the exception of some roaches & roach droppings in the kitchen. We also appreciated the contact with the owner. I reached out to the manager with several questions but he did not get back to me as quickly as the owner did. Thank you for a nice stay!

What a gem!
The location was amazing and the view of the ocean was spectacular! We saw the most beautiful sunsets right at our outside patio table. The hosts were great. Communication was easy and quick. The hosts really went the extra mile. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay most enjoyable. Would definitely rent here again in the future. We have been renting from Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet since 2014 and have stayed in many different units- but this one stands out. Thank you for having us! We look forward to booking with you again.

Beautiful condo
We stayed for three days in April - wish it could have been longer. The condo was lovely, very spacious, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Totally fantastic patio with comfy chairs and sun beds looking right into the sea. Gorgeous sunsets! Great location with the shopping Centre with grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Wish we could come again!

Perfect location, beautiful spot!
This place has been just the best location for our family to stay while we explored the entire west aide of the island. It's centrally located, quiet, easy to access, and we watched the sunset every night from the back porch. There's little birds and geckos everywhere and we fell asleep to the sound of waves. Highly recommend!

Great location and stay
We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed to feel at home, and all beach items you could require to spend a day out at the beach or onsite pool. The only downside is no air conditioning which we were aware of prior but with the windows being sliding doors, we were comfortable leaving them opened while sleeping. There are ample fans available to use though! We would definitely stay here again as it had everything we wanted and was in a great location.

Great view for Sunsets
Great place for the price and very close to stores and restaurants. Extremely easy process to rent and parking was great. We watched the sunset from our lanai. The only problem was there is no air conditioning and it was a little warm at night.

My family all enjoyed the ocean breeze and the view right by the backyard condo.
The condo is in a perfect location in Kona. It’s closed to restaurants, many nice beaches and downtown of Kona. We would love to come back to Big Island to stay at the condo again :)

Big Island Family Vacay
We loved this location - the views, proximity to the beach, and great pool were wonderful! Running Ali'i Drive each morning was so nice and stretching on the lanai was a huge bonus.

Perfect location
A few things are in disrepair, and it isn't the cleanest place; however, it did not alter our awesome experience. Some things could certainly use upgrades ... paint, fixtures, dishwasher (have to hold it shut with a chair), etc. The dozens of notes everywhere were sortof helpful but a bit over-the-top, i.e., one key has a label stating it would be $150 if that key is lost. A little excessive. We weren't sure if we should take a chance by using it! Perfect sunsets and view!!!

Best VRBO yet!
Loved this property....amazing view, especially the sunsets!!! This condo was well furnished with everything you need. Super comfortable, updated, and clean. The only little snafu, witch wasn't bad for me, I was by myself, but for a family it could be hard, was the dishwasher didn't work. When I contacted the property manager, he was aware of the problem and said that the part was on order. Great, but a note left to let the guests know would be nice. The other thing I talked to him about was there is a coffee grinder...I thought, "how awesome is this"...of course bought whole bean coffee, came back, grinder doesn't work...just whirls the beans around. Suggested to the property manager to just get rid of it, so others don't make the same mistake. I didn't really expect a coffee grinder...I was just pleased to see it, then disappointed when it didn't work. Todd and Bic, thank-you so much for sharing your home, it's lovely, and I will definitely be wanting to come back! Mahalo, Jill

Great place for the family !
We had an amazing stay! The location of the condo is perfect as it faces the ocean. You go to sleep and wake up to the sound of The crashing waves. The condo is stocked with paper towels , toilet paper, laundry soap. Etc. which we were really appreciative. We loved the small things in the unit such as beach chairs, snorkeling gear, tennis racquets, umbrellas etc. The manager left good tips on places to eat, and things to do. The condo is really close to a great snorkeling beach. Everything worked great! The unit was very clean and comfortable for our family. We loved the property it’s self. Tennis courts, bbq pits, pool , volleyball net. The atmosphere is breathtaking. This was our first time in Hawaii so we were unaware of the heat and humidity especially in July. The unit does not have A/C which was really hard for us to get used too especially in the afternoons because the sun sets on the side of the condo. We went to target and bought a couple of extra fans and kept the shades closed in the afternoons which reduced the heat. Other than the no A/C the condo was perfect! Beautiful pool and breathtaking sunsets on the back patio. Great price for a great place to stay! We will be back for sure .
