“This property was a scam and expedia was of no assistance in helping me get my money back. From before I reached Jamaica I contacted expedia to let them know I was unable to get in contact with the property. I did not have access to the property and yet expedia sees no issue with taking my money to give to these scammers.”

“We had a fabulous time at the villa, it was the perfect size for our group of 8. The staff was lovely—chef cooked incredible Jamaican meals, everyone was quick to help out and very hospitable. Every question was answered, every need addressed. It’s a very peaceful place with a stunning view of the bay, lots of interesting day trips in the parish as well—we really enjoyed learning more about Jamaican history. Highly recommend for a quick long weekend in Jamaica. ”

“Comfortable cozy rooms with spacoius bathrooms. Clean, beautiful with fresh free following air. Service was amazing. I got fast a quick response from management. Our host Vince was always a text or phone call away ,to make sure we experience a comfortable stay. The food made to order by chef and house keeping Ms. Althea was delicious 😋. We were served local cuisine. Location is super convenient, with just 10 minutes drive to the airport. Close to a major shopping center hub in harbor view....

“Shimmering Waters is exactly as advertised and the perfect relaxing getaway for my family to ring in the New Year. We loved the daily breakfasts prepared by Miss Amera the cook and had her come back for dinner to cook the red snapper we caught on our fishing trip! Sir Baker was a great driver and tour guide. “Will never EVER CONSIDER staying here again and I will never advise family or friends to come to this property. Poor communication, no cable no pool no remote for the TV. The television that they did have was broken doors open and shut all night by themselves or the wind. If you let them tell it you have to bring your own tissue. You have to bring your own Wi-Fi for Internet fire stick you had to bring your own trash bags, Netflix it was not up to par for anything other than having a roof over...

“Clean and well kept. Exceptional customer service, very accommodating- they went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Gorgeous views from the rooftop pool. Ice cold A/C and fan as well. Tried the fried chicken and oxtail from the restaurant upstairs- both are great. Also had a nice jetted tub in our room. Will be back.”

Good and bad help by the front desk.

"A woman at the frontdesk with big red glasses were very unfriendly and rude to us when we wanted help with changing room. She said our issue was unsolvable, but we got help the day after by woman with a great servise attitude. The food were more or less the same everyday. "

"Jättefin resort - flera restauranger och barer. Fina stränder och stort poolområde. Rrevlig personal i restaurangerna och barerna. Bra mat - både i restaurangerna och vid de enklare ställena utomhus. Bra stämning vid poolen med musikquiz, dans m.m. Det som var mindre bra var att det är dyrt att åka till och från flygplatsen samt på utflykt. Utflykt till Montego Bay rekommenderas inte. Upplevdes inte alls genuint och väldigt turistigt. Stanna bara på resorten! Ett minus med resorten, men som säkert gäller på alla ställen på Jamaica är att det är väldigt instängt - det går inte att gå på promenader etc för det är inhägnat (pga säkerhet)."

Problem with transfer

"We had a very bad experience with the arrogant transfer lady on site. We wanted to be at least 2.5 hours earlier at the airport due to personal reasons. Jody the agent did not care. It was impossible to talk to her in a good manner. We called customer service and they was okey to give us an earlier transfer and booked it, we got confirmation online. When it was time for transfer the next day no one showed up. We had then to take taxi and payed 25 dollar for it"
