“Me and my family had a wonderful stay here in this home from Dec 23- Jan 7th. Let’s start off by saying the owner Natalie is so sweet and respectful. Inside was so nice and clean, it was very spacious and felt like home. Natalie and her family treated us as if we were her family they were all very welcoming, and if I had any questions or concerns she always was a phone call away. “This property was a scam and expedia was of no assistance in helping me get my money back. From before I reached Jamaica I contacted expedia to let them know I was unable to get in contact with the property. I did not have access to the property and yet expedia sees no issue with taking my money to give to these scammers.”

“We had an excellent time at Portside Villa. The house is perfectly positioned on Discovery Bay, with great water access from the deck and the private beach. Our daughters are Masters Swimmers and they did a lot of open water swimming. Our kids and grandkids visited the Puerto Seca Park and loved the floating trampoline. Negel, the butler, helped us set up some time on a jet ski and so many other activities. We played pool a lot and visited the Gistening Water and the Blue Hole, which exceeded...

“This property is amazing. Was a little skeptical when the driver turned in on a dirt road but as soon as we pass the front gate, it was as if we were transported to a tropical paradise. The views in the backyard are incredible. The house is always clean. Rose the housekeeper and Ricky the groundsman, were amazing. Felt safe knowing that they were there. “Comfortable cozy rooms with spacoius bathrooms. Clean, beautiful with fresh free following air. Service was amazing. I got fast a quick response from management. Our host Vince was always a text or phone call away ,to make sure we experience a comfortable stay. The food made to order by chef and house keeping Ms. Althea was delicious 😋. We were served local cuisine. Location is super convenient, with just 10 minutes drive to the airport. Close to a major shopping center hub in harbor view....

“Mr Ralph was an amazing host! Our flight got canceled due to the Heathrow chaos and he was so patient and kind, making sure we could reschedule. The villa is absolutely stunning and the staff made our trip unforgettable.The chefs spoiled us with incredible Jamaican food, and they went all out for my mum’s birthday….decorations, a floating breakfast, the works! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!”

“Will never EVER CONSIDER staying here again and I will never advise family or friends to come to this property. Poor communication, no cable no pool no remote for the TV. The television that they did have was broken doors open and shut all night by themselves or the wind. If you let them tell it you have to bring your own tissue. You have to bring your own Wi-Fi for Internet fire stick you had to bring your own trash bags, Netflix it was not up to par for anything other than having a roof over...

“Clean and well kept. Exceptional customer service, very accommodating- they went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Gorgeous views from the rooftop pool. Ice cold A/C and fan as well. Tried the fried chicken and oxtail from the restaurant upstairs- both are great. Also had a nice jetted tub in our room. Will be back.”

Good and bad help by the front desk.

"A woman at the frontdesk with big red glasses were very unfriendly and rude to us when we wanted help with changing room. She said our issue was unsolvable, but we got help the day after by woman with a great servise attitude. The food were more or less the same everyday. "

"Jättefin resort - flera restauranger och barer. Fina stränder och stort poolområde. Rrevlig personal i restaurangerna och barerna. Bra mat - både i restaurangerna och vid de enklare ställena utomhus. Bra stämning vid poolen med musikquiz, dans m.m. Det som var mindre bra var att det är dyrt att åka till och från flygplatsen samt på utflykt. Utflykt till Montego Bay rekommenderas inte. Upplevdes inte alls genuint och väldigt turistigt. Stanna bara på resorten! Ett minus med resorten, men som säkert gäller på alla ställen på Jamaica är att det är väldigt instängt - det går inte att gå på promenader etc för det är inhägnat (pga säkerhet)."

Problem with transfer

"We had a very bad experience with the arrogant transfer lady on site. We wanted to be at least 2.5 hours earlier at the airport due to personal reasons. Jody the agent did not care. It was impossible to talk to her in a good manner. We called customer service and they was okey to give us an earlier transfer and booked it, we got confirmation online. When it was time for transfer the next day no one showed up. We had then to take taxi and payed 25 dollar for it"
