“The property is excellently positioned for a short walk in to Canterbury City Centre.Having parking at the property really means the car can become obsolete during your stay. I would not hesitate to use again if we’re visiting the area.”

“When I am in this area, I will always try to stay here. The value is very high compared with a good hotel room. Lovely decor, quiet location, easy parking, good kitchen. I wish I had found it before. A plus is that it is very close to the Thamesport and other Isle of Grain industrial sites.”

“We staying in this apartment because we were attending a wedding in the area and the apartment was ideal for what we wanted. The bed was comfortable and fans were provided which were appreciated as it was warm at night. The water for the shower was hot too. We did use the hob to cook breakfast and found everything we needed in the kitchen. ”

“We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Penthouse ,the location was great ,a short walk to all the attractions ,restaurants/pubs ,shopping and transport . The flat was well appointed ,we liked the little extra's that were provided .it was comfortable and homely . a nice place to relax in . The communication was great ,and the local information provided was very helpful . We would definitely stay here. again ”

“Family visiting us in Maidstone so decided to have a couple of days at the coast. Apartment was as described though we hadn’t realised there would be a steep flight of stairs and finding parking space could be a bit of a problem. Overall we enjoyed a pleasant few days. ”

“The apartment that I stayed is not sea-viewing. The apartment has clear sign of require maintenance. What frustrated me most is that Regency Apartments charged my card eventhough I have already fully paid to Hotels.com. The rational from Regency Apartments is that they could not charge against Hotels.com. But this is not my issue. End up I am double charged and require follow up for my refund which I do not even know how long it will takes. Felt being penalised as a customer when the issue...

“The Location of the house is Perfect! The only thing to criticise was that we booked for 4 People but only got linen and towels for 3. unfortunately no response to my Text Message and Email. We figured it out since we only spent two Nights there. On First sight the house was clean but I discovered old receipts and empty Water bottles under our bed when I checked it before leaving. Apart from that - excellent property I would definitely recommend. ”

“A lovely well-kept and equipped seafront flat with all the amenities - we were lucky with gorgeous weather and saw a lot of Margate plus enjoyed the beach and the tidal pool. Just a lovely lovely break.”

“Convenient for town and free parking nearby. Beds were comfy but there were a few cleanliness issues especially in the Communal hallway. Lacked a few kitchen essentials and we were surprised to be expected to take our rubbish home. That’s simply not practical for most people! ”

Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. ”

A reasonable stay

"We were mostly happy with our stay, the room was clean and the majority of staff were pleasant and helpful. There were two days where the room was not cleaned but I expect this was due to staff taking time off over Christmas, it did not really inconvenience us. The biggest issue we had was on two occasions despite the premises being listed as non smoking, there was a smell of cigarette smoke drifting into our room from the corridor. The person on duty did not seem too interested and all they could do was offer to provide us with an air freshener. I also emailed Marston's regarding this issue but as I have not heard back from them, I presume they are somewhat disinterested in the issue also."
