“We spent a family vacation in the villa and enjoyed our time very much. The hostess was very friendly and very helpful and had lots of good tips for excursions and other places to visit. The location is very quiet and the surrounding towns can be easily reached by car. The villa is clean and the garden is ideal for children. I can totally recommend a vacation there! ”

Die großzügigen und sehr schön renovierten Zimmer haben zudem genug Rückzugsmöglichkeit geboten. Die Gegend ist gut zum Sightseeing, wandern, spazieren geeignet und Annone selbst angenehm weg vom großen Tourismus am Comer See.”

“We fell in love with the view from the porch, and envisioned having our morning coffee sitting there watching the boats go by. Unfortunately, there was no coffee maker of any sort. Due to a knee injury, my husband needs to sleep with a pillow under his knee, but there were no spare pillows( just one allowed per person - we were told that that was the Italian way). In lieu of a pillow we rolled up the bath towels- but had only been given 2 and they were damp each night. We had been touring for...

“If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host. It was just me and my wife and our 3 young (and restless) boys and we had a great time. The pool and the living room with the amazing veranda were perfect family entertainment areas. The location is great as well - Mandello is close to everything yet...

“Site fantastisque pour notre groupe de 12 amis. A ce prix dans la région je m'attendais à quelque mauvaise surprise, mais n'en ai pas rencontré. Tous petits bémols: la procédure en ligne de paiement de la taxe locale ne semble pas fonctionner et la personne en charge de l'accueil n'acceptait pas les espèces. Un peu plus de vaisselle serait bienvenue pour 12 personnes.”

“Historic villa property beautifully restored in an amazing location with amazing view. Lunch and dinners on the covered veranda. Would have been better if bath for second bedroom were not down the hall. The owner was wonderful. At our request arranged for a private chef to come to the villa which was lots of fun, and delicious. She also arranged for restaurant reservation for the evening we arrived. Owner communication was excellent! We loved our stay!!!”
