The Perfect Place for Glacier NP
We had a wonderful stay in Hungry Horse. This was the PEFECT location as it is only 10 miles from the entrance to the park. Close to Columbia Falls and Whitefish. The house was clean, had a great layout and was ideal for our needs. Jamie the host responded to any questions I had right away. I would definitely stay here again!!

GNP Stay
We could not have been happier with our choice of VRBO's for our GNP trip. It was conveniently located to the West entrance of GNP. The house was the perfect size for 6 adults. It contained everything we needed for our trip and more. They thought of everything we might need to make us feel at home. I can't wait to go back to Montana and to GNP. I highly recommend this rental!

Just a short drive to Glacier National Park
We enjoyed our stay in Hungry Horse! The house was just as described. There's a grocery store nearby as well as souvenir shops. It was great to have a grill to use and the yard is beautifully landscaped! Jamie was very responsive and helpful. Our week in Montana was relaxing and entertaining, and our accommodations only enhanced our stay!

Every amenity for our needs was thought of and ready for our visit.
Wonderful place to stay. Jamie (owner) was on the ball with our every need. The little things were done BEFORE we arrived, such as a small bouquet of flowers waiting for us. The owner was always helpful on any need which arose and was extremely timely in responding to us. We do not know how our stay could have been any better.

We loved, loved, loved the property. The property was as described. The amenities were plentiful. The decor was far above average. The owners really outdid themselves. Even the kitchen accessories were top-notch. I can't think of one bad thing to say about the property. Jamie was very pleasant, kind and quick to respond. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Clean, adorable & updated cottage
The pictures are very accurate for this property. Owners were awesome with communication! It was extremely clean, updated & adorable!!! The only negative is some of the neighborhood is pretty run down. However, the cottage & owners were so great that more than made up for it. There was an air conditioning unit & ceiling fans in every room. Plus, so many extras provided . The location from West Glacier was ideal & bonus the Huckleberry Patch & a small grocery store is a 2 minute walk away. We highly recommend!!!

Beautiful Gem near West Glacier
This cottage was far more than we expected. Jamie was super responsive and the home was spotless and greeted us in the driveway with beautiful flowers!! The home is fully stocked. Literally, everything needed for the kitchen, laundry, fire pit, BBQ, toiletries, bedding and clothes storage and hangers. Cleaning supplies, washer and dryer….everything! Beach towels and beach blanket, water bottles, cooler and ice packs. Bear spray, bug spray, sunscreen, hairdryer, hair ties, lotion, chapstick, women and men hygiene products. We have absolutely NO complaints. Jamie’s tap water is the coldest tap water we’ve experienced and refreshing. Super Foods grocery is about 15 mins away with a greater selection of groceries but just behind the home is a smaller market for a quick run/walk, a gas station with the cheapest gas near west glacier, wine/ liquor store. The Huckleberry Patch and their pie is oh so tasty! Just 10mins headed toward west glacier entrance and there are water sports and a horseback riding center, zip lines, and fun zone with go-carts, water bumper boats, putt-putt and maze ( the maze is a must if you’re a competitive family) . Wild River was the best experience for whitewater rafting. Wet suits, shoes and helmets are provided with the option to purchase your trip’s pictures. Want warmer water to swim or for a boat rental with or without tubing; head to Flathead lake. Unfortunately, our restaurant recommendations are slim. We love to cook and pack sandwiches for the long day ride and hikes. However, the one we did eat at: Back Slope brewery: Burgers and beer are great! About 15 mins toward Colombia Falls. Genesis Kitchen if you like olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They have a tasting room and pairing recommendations. Also, makes a great gift set and they will ship for you. We will certainly be back and look forward to staying at Jamie’s cottage again! GNP is so, so gorgeous. We’ve created so many memories and hope you do, too! Again, thank you Jamie and every single GNP employee we encountered. Everyone was kind and served us with a smile!

Perfect Glacier National Park Getaway!
We highly recommend this home away from home! It was the perfect size for a family of 5. The hosts gave a lot of thought in the details and providing the comforts of home. Hosts were responsive and even cleared the driveway of snow. We look forward to returning again someday!

Fantastic stay in lovely cottage!
It was an absolute pleasure to stay in this lovely cottage. The care and attentiveness Jamie puts into preparing this place and hosting is exceptional! One of our favorite delights was the fresh flowers throughout in the mason jars. They make you smile! This is the cleanest, coziest, and fully stocked accommodation we have ever stayed in. Jamie has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and complete. We would highly recommend for anyone coming to the area!

This unit was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds and convenient having a washer and dryer available. All the appliances were very nice. The neighborhood was not quite what we expected but it was convenient to stores, restaurants and the park.

Lovely Cottage Very Convenient to West Glacier
This cottage was very nicely decorated, super clean with all new appliances and well stocked with extras such as toiletries you may have forgotten. It is within 20 minutes from GNP and there is a grocery store and a couple little restaurants within walking distance. Also Hungry Horse Dam was fairly close and amazing to see. The neighborhood is somewhat mixed but we felt very safe. A highlight for us was the wonderful outside space they’ve created with lovely flowers, a picnic area as well as a sitting area. Jamie is a great host and goes above and beyond such as bringing a basketball over for our sons to use as a nearby court and having fresh flowers in almost every room. She responds very quickly to any questions you may have. We would highly recommend and definitely stay there again.

Comfortable Glacier Stay
We were very happy with this Hungry Horse house! Glacier National Park is a convenient and easy nearby drive. The house was so clean and comfortable. It had every amenity we could ask for. (In fact, I made a list of ideas from the house to make my own home more comfortable.). We also loved being able to use the cooler, beach towels, and bear spray for our day trip to Glacier. (We didn't need the bear spray, but was good to have just in case.) I appreciated that the grocery store was a 5 minute walk away as well.

Outstanding in Every Way!
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay! House was spotless, new, well-decorated, and fully stocked! (When I say fully…I mean FULLY…shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tp, garbage bags, tons of towels, items for the beach, for hiking, etc…) Location was great-close to the west entrance of GNP, and near Columbia Falls and Whitefish but less congested. Jamie was friendly and responsive. You can’t lose on this one!

Excellent home base for exploring Glacier National Park
Perfect little cottage for exploring Glacier National Park. Only 10 miles from the West Glacier entrance this cabin is well located, new and truly equipped with everything you need. AC (we visited during a heat wave), Tempur-pedic beds, well stocked kitchen, full-size appliances --fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi to check email (not enough bandwidth for remote work --you're on vacation!), gas grill, picnic area, fire pit, etc. They even have bear spray to use during your visit. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. We can't wait to visit again!

Great place close to GNP
House was clean and comfortable, rooms were good size and it was nice to have 2 separate bathrooms. All the appliance were clean and updated. Kitchen looked to have enough utensils and cooking items for basic needs. There are a lot of things that are available in the house for the guest to use like food, bear spray, walking sticks etc. We enjoyed our stay. Check in was a breeze and the owner was very helpful all the time. The house is 5-10 minutes from a great restaurants. Everything was great. Would def recommend and stay again.
