“This is the most amazing place I've stayed at. The ENTIRE staff was terrific from begging to end. My wife had the best massage she's ever had. The food was great and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. If I could give more stars I would. Be ready to unplug from the world and enjoy your surroundings. So much to do and see. “We had an amazing stay at the Rainforest Retreat. Theodocios, our assistant at the Rainforest Retreat was an excellent guide and his wife, Francelia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner that was included with our stay. She also does laundry. We stayed one night there in the Eco-Pods and the 2nd night at the Chaa Creek Lodge. Docios shuttled us back and forth and provided excellent guidance.”

“I would describe this as more of a glamping experience. The room is a large, open space with multiple beds and a kitchen, plus a separate bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no closet, shelving, or luggage rack, so you have to live out of your suitcase on the floor.

“Mike was so nice and helpful, as was his wife. The place has a real charm, but just know that it’s rustic and authentic. Meaning no A/C, bugs in the rooms, beds, bathroom, etc. The property is starting to degrade but still has a special feel and vibe.
