“My friend and I found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped. Quiet location but an easy walk to the centre of Alnwick, the castle and gardens. Lovely fresh bread at the Lidl, a minute's walk away! Only about 10-15 mins from the beautiful Northumbian coastal path and beaches. Would certainly stay here again.”

“Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended.”

“Lovely small house which was perfect for us , en suites were great , beds really comfortable , kitchen was fully equipped , comfy sofas and only 10 minutes walk to the beach . Heating was set so the house was lovely and warm on arrival , great as it was icy outside . One small twist was the size of the tv , not small but not what most people are used to but not the end of the world .”

“The property was excellent and near the harbour so in easy reach of everything. With really nice pubs, restaurants and takeaways we were spoilt for choice for food. Bonus was the kippers at the other end of the road. Will definitely look to stay at the property again. Loved the property, situation and the surrounding area.”

“Situated in a good location, in a quite village, with easy access to all that Northumberland has to offer. The property was clean and had all the facilities that you need, nicely furnished, comfy beds, great powerful shower. Plenty of games, videos, and TV (2). Property had some nice decorative touches. well equipped kitchen. Helpful hosts with good communication.”

“The overall experience at the Garden Rooms was good. We would return, though there were a few things which disappointed us. The large sliding doors to the outside were very difficult to open. We are not feeble but it was almost impossible to slide due to being very heavy and stiff. The room itself smelt very strong of wood smoke from the chimnea, we did not use it during our stay.
