“I loved the spectacular view of the sand dunes and also because of its locution, the winds can pick up there but it’s right in the middle of all the other little bach’s and sort of blocks it from really getting hit by the winds. It was quiet and peaceful place, which is exactly what we needed. The owner communicated with us all the way and was a pleasure to keep in touch with. Thank you so much Shannon. ”

“Stayed over for 2 nights here, while attending a large family and community event re my brother who died in April. We were very comfortable here, and the cottage is very attractive, obviously historic. It was super-well equipped with everything you'd need. Easy access from the road, close to the Kohukohu village, and a clear view across the harbour in front. Thankyou for having us, we'd come again if the need or opportunity arose. ”

“We had 3 generations under one roof, amazing house with outstanding well cared for garden's and then the amazing views. Beds were incredible, the best beds we have slept on at book a bach. Washing machine and dryer were excellent. David was great, and met us onsite when we arrived, and provided great communication through out the start to finish process. Overall the best stay we have had at a book a bach. We will definitely be back. ❤️ ”

“Patrick was an absolutely wonderful host and the arrival process was smooth and easy! It was the most stunning location with a lot of space for the seven of us that stayed. Unfortunately it rained most of our stay so we are hoping to stay again to get to spend some time outside on the property. One thing to note is that the property is completely off-grid. We loved this aspect but definitely worth knowing that there is just one composting toilet and one shower when you have a big group!...
