“Cute and unique little cottage, the kids loved running up and down the stairs! (If you have a crawler or toddler the stairs would be a challenge, there are no baby gates.) We will definitely be back when we need another get away close to home!”

“It was cozy with no major frills. It was fairly clean and we got mostly hot water, but there were few amenities. There was a washer but no detergent. We had to pay extra a night for a second guest, but received nothing for that extra charge. The bed was firm and we woke up to horses neighing in the morning. Also, watch out for horse poop when you walk to your car in the ’driveway’. It did take a while to warm up the pellet stove but then it got toasty. ”

“This cottage is conveniently located for visiting Akron, Cuyahoga Valley, and even Canton. We like birding and hiking, and there are many beautiful parks in this area. The cottage is comfortable and lovingly decorated. Great communication with the property manager and owner! My only complaint is not with the cottage itself, but with its description of being “steps from the lake.” While this is technically true, the steps take you to a guardrail behind which are private properties going down...
