“We had the most relaxing weekend getaway! The property is beautiful, far enough out of town that you can see all the stars at night and it’s quiet an peaceful, but close enough to get to all the hustle and bustle downtown in 10 minutes if you want to. Our only complaint is the smell of the water. We saw other reviews and were prepared for the sulfur smell but it was almost overwhelming. To the point that we opted not to use hot water at all. “We loved Fredericksburg and found Lynn and Jerry's cottage to be the perfect place to call home while exploring its rich history, great restaurants, quaint shops and breweries! The cottage is perfectly located in that it is close to Town yet very private. It is also very nicely furnished, comfortable and had everything that we needed and then some! “Very nice and quiet area. We enjoyed coffee sitting on the porch rocking chairs. More than enough coffee and snacks were provided. Items to make smores were also provided. Plenty of towels and all neccesities were at reach. Due to the weather (strong winds) we were not able to use the hot tub or fire pit. Hopefully we will next time!”

It was a perfect size for the three of us. It is a little out of town but very easy to get to main street. Very quiet even with two other houses near by.”
