Hand-crafted wooden ladders lead to two mezzanine areas providing additional living spaces. With casual seating these light-filled spaces are ideal for reading and relaxing with open-views to the beach and circular windows with views over the chalet rooftops to St Ives.
The three bedrooms offer paired-back simplicity and are accessed from the main living area. The master bedroom with King-Sized bed has double sliding doors that open to enjoy a beach view whilst lounging in bed. Less-is-more in this understated space adorned with carefully curated furniture and benefitting from an ensuite shower room and the luxury of falling asleep to the sound of the sea. A second double bedroom enjoys a large West-facing window and the compact third bedroom has a single bed. There is a shower room accessed directly from the living area.
The large sliding glass doors lead outside to the private terrace finished with a Cornish wall crafted from local stone. An outdoor dining table and chairs make for easy entertaining in this exceptional setting. And an outdoor shower with views of the lighthouse is ideal for that post-surf freshen up. From the terrace the communal grassy area leads to the road and pathways to the beach so you can grab your board and walk across the dunes to one of Europe's best surf beaches.
Gwithian Lookout is made for lazy days and long summer evenings enjoying the sunsets over the bay and the enchanting lights of St Ives twinkling at night. Gwithian Beach is a very long and exposed sandy beach that joins up with Hayle Towans and Godrevy at low tide, popular with surfers. Further down the coast is the fabulous Carbis Bay where the G7 summit was held in June 2021, featuring a blue flag beach and plenty of fine dining to be had. For keen walkers, you can connect to the nearby South West Coastal path and head up to Portreath or down to Hayle.
