“Beautiful, secluded property. The cottage is surrounded by ferns and trees. The cottage is comfortable and cozy with all the amenities needed for your stay. The electric fireplace is a special treat on the cool evenings. Although there are neighbors, you feel like you are all alone. The communication with the property managers was excellent. We’d definitely stay here again. ”

“The property was clean and mostly as advertised. The closet that contained the laundry was locked and unavailable during my stay. There was also a camera in the home when I checked in. It was facing outside, but the microphone could clearly pick up conversation inside. (Unplugged it immediately)Overall, the stay was great for one person. My biggest complaint is only having one loveseat for seating in the whole home. I couldn't really imagine more than 2 people staying here comfortably other than...

“It is a 10. Loved the position, the cottage, the surroundings the bed, shower and feeding the pheasants but feel we have to add, we are in our 80's. still love travelling and relatively active but.... we found the high bar table and heavy wooden dining chairs uncomfortable and difficult to get on and off! Kitchen very well equipped with everything you could want for kitchen appliances and utensils but, for someone who loves nothing better than to cook a meal on return from a busy day...

“Hulili farm was a perfect home base during our week-long visit to the big island. We enjoyed the super-comfy bed in the ginger cottage - gorgeous grounds and peaceful ocean view. Bonus - fresh avocados from the tree right outside the cottage! The farm location on the rainforest eastern side of the island worked well for us - a 30 min drive to Hilo, and hour to Volcano National park, and one hour to the Mauna Kea visitor center. ”

“Stayed 5 nights here after 5 nights on the east side. Studio was perfect - just the right amount of space for the two of us. Decorated very nice, comfortable bed, clean, had everything you needed, peaceful view of the awesome sunsets from the veranda. Wonderful hosts! Highly recommend!”

“The accommodation was perfect for just me, or if I had my wife with me. Large bed, large closet, spacious bathroom, and a good-sized common area. I was greeted with a handwritten note with some homemade banana bread ( I think), a cluster of bananas, a couple of ripe papaya, and a few oranges. The private lanai was peaceful, and the grounds were lovely. The hosts are on site, but other than an initial hello when I arrived, I did not see or hear from them the entire stay. The property is 8 acres...
