“I had a broken bead tire problem and a front desk employee has a husband who processes tires. That was helpful. I propose that front desk tell guests about number of chairs and coat hangers in the room. They could mention that the microwave in the room is good for making the breakfast oatmeal hotter.”

“Most facilities at the location were good. Though all the rooms have a "no smoking" sign, our room still smelled of smoke until we aired it out. Some minor cosmetic facility defects, but nothing that would deter us from coming back.”

“Overall, a newly renovated building with friendly service, but I was disappointed about some aspects of the renovation which was not professionally done. The vent/furnace was very loud when it was running, and there was some on and off noise at night coming from the upper floor, which sounded like wood floor cracks, or something behind the wall. I was surprised that a newly renovated building had those issues. Other than that, I was satisfied with our stay.”

“Love the location! Disliked the elevator not working and the we were on the 4th floor…. Luggage was a nightmare. Our room had one toilet paper roll and no one to call for more, they charge for towels to be switched out. Was not that impressed with Rimfire. ”

“The setting is most charming with incredible mountain scenery. The complex is compact allowing a short walk to any of the amenities. The staff at the restaurants are very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back and will recommend to family and friends. ”

“The king bed room was absolutely the cleanest and spacious setting for a family owned property. The cherry furniture with microwave and refrigerator inside was extraordinary. So private and although highway 48 is close…we didn’t hear any cars or trucks!! I loved taking a hot bath also!! Views of the mountains are inspiring and breakfast was substantial….variety and convenient. We’ll return!”

“If you like old style charm, you will love this place. The town is extremely quiet, so we arrived with a personal note on the note addressed to us, front door unlocked, and key in the door of our room. It was an early century 3 story house so clean and comfortable, we felt very cozy and safe. The proprietor has everything ready for you and has a phone number to call if any questions or issues. “Condo and the property was very outdated. Beds were uncomfortable. There is a great coffee shop and restaurant/bar at the property so that was nice, but it closed early. The location was ideal for skiing - so for that reason only I would stay here again. ”
