NY! Vackert hem i paradiset!

Långt från massorna och Condos ... Långt från buller och turistfällor ... Det finns den gamla Hawaii av HANA, ett litet samhälle med utsikt över vackra Hana Bay på windward östra änden av Maui. Hana kyls av handelsvindarna som blåser över Stilla havet och ger oss näring med kvällsduschar som gör denna del av Maui frodig och tropisk.
När du reser den magiska vägen till Hana lämnar du den verkliga världen bakom och går långsamt in i det gamla Hawaii, med vattenfall, majestätisk utsikt över kusten och djungelregnskogar. När du anländer till Hana kommer du att känna en liten förändring. Du kommer att känna dig långsammare, lugnare och tystare.

Hale Moana är en vacker nyare 2 sovrum 2 badrum hem. Det ligger på 2 hektar av tropiska blommor, lövverk och fruktträd. Hemmet har ett komplett kök med graniträknare, gasspis, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, brödrost, kabel-TV, trådlöst internet, ett stort masterbad med en promenad i kakeldusch och separat badkar. Båda sovrummen har en king size-säng. Det finns en stor lanai där du kan njuta av den svala brisen, ha en utomhusmåltid eller enkelt koppla av och läsa en bok.

Vi ligger bara 3 miles före den faktiska staden Hana, och en kort bilresa till Waianapanapa State Park. Hale Moana ligger i ett säkert, ganska grannskap och en kort dyka (7-15 min) till stan och många populära attraktioner.

Hemmet är perfekt för par eller små familjer (4 personer max). Vi tillåter inte gruppsammankomster, fester eller djur. Det är ett ganska bostadsområde och vi är mycket respektfulla för våra grannar. Vi har en platschef som är tillgänglig om du har några frågor eller problem. Observera att vi stänger av 2: a sovrummet och badrummet vid hyra till 1-2 personer. Vänligen ange om det bara finns 2 av er men du behöver båda sovrummen (det blir en extra avgift).

Wonderful
Beautiful view, great front deck for breakfast! Appreciated the Kona coffee provided. Could use a few more mugs as we are all coffee drinkers! Nice to have beach towels, chairs and boogie boards. The master bath was roomy and beautiful. Price was very reasonable. Thank you for the wonderful stay

Wonderful Hale!!
Our family of 5 stayed very comfortably in this house. Our two kids loved sleeping on the air mattress in our room. House was easy to get to. Host was very easy to communicate with and answered all questions quickly. House had standard kitchenware. We loved being able to use the boogie boards and extra towels!! Overall, would highly recommend and we look forward to staying there again.

Loved the house (just mind the fridge!)
Pros: Clean and comfortable! Perfect for our small family. Quiet and private on beautiful grounds. Very roomy and airy with minimal tasteful decor. Very comfy beds and bedding. Plentiful towels. Easy to find off the Hana hwy, but not so close as to hear day tripper traffic coming in and out. Zero bug issues! Great communication with nice, friendly local hosts who were very quick to answer texts. Cons: The refrigerator. The water/ice dispenser didn't work (but the brita and ice trays solved that! And the well water is fantastic! The only real problem we had was the dicey refrigerator. The thermometer showed the temp dropping well below safe temps quickly in both fridge/freezer immediately after we loaded in our groceries. Rebecca was quick to respond, suggesting a reset by unplugging from power for a few minutes. Thankfully it worked but we had a bit of a stressful first night transferring our food to the freezer and monitoring it into the night until fridge was cold enough which took several hours. That was the only minus on a big plus house for us! We would absolutely stay again! It's a great house in Hana and it checked all our boxes.

Lush and Large
This lovely home is just off of the main road and is surrounded by dense plantings that provide a sense of privacy and calm. Rebecca and her team do a wonderful job maintaining the properties. This 2 BR home has vast rooms and an equally large covered deck where we spent most of our time.

A couple days in Hana
Nice off the grid house, everything you need except cell signal! Hana is great, don't be afraid of the road, take it slow and its not that bad. Unfortunately we didnt realize that 95% of all food in Hana closes between 5-7, so we ended up having ramen from the grocery store! If we had planned a bit better, we would have bought take-away, or brought more groceries with us to cook in the HUGE kitchen!

A great stay in the jungle
You will need to climb 2 flights of stairs to enter the house. There is plenty of places to relax in these spacious rooms, and porch, all to yourself. Be careful driving a low clearance vehicle (we had a mustang convertible) as we scraped a lava rock leaving behind some metal shavings near the bamboo trees. We couldn’t find a toaster, but the toaster oven was a good substitute. We had everything else needed for a very peaceful respite. Thank you!

Needs to some work
The grounds of the home are beautifully manicured. The underneath of the home is an eyesore, but we knew that from other reviews and expected it. Some trellis fencing could help cover it up but overall, we weren't bothered by it. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to the road and the airport, but we were not disturbed by noise. The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels for use, the bathrooms were in good condition and the ceiling fans were wonderful because there isn't much of a breeze to cool things off. The couches need replacing they are lumpy and uncomfortable. The front door needs a screen door and one the main sliding door needs a screen door. All of the other screens need replacing. There were either holes in them or were loose. When we arrived, I was greeted by a gecko falling into my face from inside the house. We were also immediately bit by bugs (no see ums) upon entering the house. Once properly bathed in bug spray, we didn't have any other bugs biting us. At night there were a lot of bugs in the house which brought in many, many geckos. The floors were very dirty. We typically remove our shoes but in this house our feet were black from the dirty floors. The house is a great location, easy to get to Hana and the major sights in the area. The information from the owner for check-in was clear and made it easy to get to the house. If the shortcomings mentioned above are addressed this could be a good choice for the Hana area.

Private Tropical Paradise
Our only regret was not booking your home for longer than two nights - it truly was like being in paradise. The views from the long balcony are beautiful and the rain was an added bonus! I loved just listening to all of the birds surrounding us. We hope to return someday!

This property felt very remote, but was close to all the things to see in Hana. We stayed here 2 nights and drove back to Kihei. It was expensive, but worth spending a little more time in Hana.

Beautiful Property
The property itself is beautiful. The house was very nice and clean. The only issue we had is that the house was not well stocked. Very little kitchen utensils and cooking supplies. No basics except salt and pepper, which in a place this remote would be helpful. Only 1 roll each of toilet paper in the bathrooms, etc. Overall it was a nice place, but should be stocked a little more.
