“Bra hotell, stort trevligt rum. Mycket bra läge, nära många sevärdheter. Den inkluderade frukosten torftig (att hämtas i plastlådor!) men i matsalen fanns många alternativ där hotellgäster får prisavdrag. Hotell i USA är oftast svaga gällande hållbarhet, Hilo Hawaiian är inget undantag, t o m lite sämre än De flesta. Städning varannan dag, men material bara för en dag, som dessutom inte påfylldes vid städningen. Lite slarvigt! Annars mycket trevlig personal”

“All staff were welcoming and helpful. It was nice having a fridge, microwave and sink to be able to eat in at times. Laundry facilities were available. I'd go for a dip in the ocean right next door and then hop into the pool. Very relaxing. Ask for a room, second floor, overlooking the pool as this gives you a nice view of the ocean as well. Very good location in Hilo ”

“This lodge is a little outdated. Room is small. Shared kitchen is convenient. Close to Hilo airport. Very loud when plane pass by. Close to the beaches which are really good for snorkeling. Can see lots of turtles.”

“Beautiful view of Hilo Bay. Breathtaking sunrises. Beautiful building, indoor furnishings and exterior. So conveniently located in town, on a hill. Thoughtful amenities: mini-refrigerator stocked with bottled water. Real glasses, mugs and spoon. Privacy. My second time to use this same room in less than 10 years. Suggested improvements: In this particular room, would've liked to know it takes considerable time for the hot water to come on in the shower. A moveable shower head would be nice so...
