“As a volunteer fire department, we utilized Heron Pond Hideaway (HPH) for our inaugural leadership summit. Shannon, the owner, communicated timely to our questions prior to making our reservation. “Our family absolutely loved our stay! The house is so beautiful! The kids loved the playground. We all loved making s’mores at the fire pit. The house was big enough to comfortably accommodate our family of 9. The house is in a private wooded area with the river across the road. You can not see the neighbors once you are on the property. It was only 20 minutes away from downtown Lake George. We are definitely planning on staying at this house again next time we go on vacation. ”

“It was just like we hoped! A clean, cozy, rustic cabin that allowed us to relax and unwind. We enjoyed the wood burning stove a lot! We loved visiting nearby towns and hamlets and enjoying wineries, craft breweries and local distilleries. The gem for us was a trip to Lake Placid and reliving the memories of the 1980 US Olympic Hockey Team.We loved every minute of our stay here and look forward to returning ”

“We had a fantastic stay. The home was neat and clean and nicer than advertised and communicating with host was super easy. “Had an absolute blast with friends at this lovely “modern cabin”. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably with a the necessary amenities needed to get by. Awesome fire pit and river access. We visit Cronins Golf Resort and it was amazing. The place was Caddy Shack meets Cheers. I highly recommend this awesome place for a weekend getaway! ”
